Really enjoyed this restaurant overall. Great views of the bay, very friendly and attentive service, and the interior was very clean. Fried oysters were decent. Prime rib was remarkably average. I’d say give this place a shot if you’re in the area.
Beautiful views from this cozy little place, where we had brunch yesterday!
Good food, excellent service and relaxed ambiance.
Go for it
My brother-in-law and his wife took my husband and I up to Port Townsend yesterday and stopped here for lunch. We got a booth by the window and enjoyed watching boats, sail boats and the ferry. Oh.. yes.. the food 😋. Everything was yummy. I had the oyster appetizer plate. The clam chowder in a bread bowl, fish and chips and shrimp salad were all great.
Came here because it was the first place we saw, but glad we did. Water views, and it’s next to the ferry dock. I had a huge chef salad which was spectacular and my wife had a tasty beer-batter shrimp meal. Very good Bloody Marys too.
From a customer service perspective this was the best experience I've had in a long time. Staff was friendly, very timely we never wanted for anything. I was really blown away, Sean did a great job in efficient service and positive attitude with us and other tables. You could just feel the teamwork. Food was incredibly hot coming out of the kitchen. Food only got a 4 because I wanted a touch more seasoning of my burger. Fries were nicely seasoned though.
Would strongly NOT recommend. We got served cold food, my hash browns looked cooked ish on top but were practically raw on the bottom, my partners eggs were burned. I don't have anything good to say about the food or service. Several people were seated after us but they were brought menus, drinks, and food before us. My partner suggested this may be because we are an interracial couple and suggested I title this review not for Black folks. 🫤 Definitely did not have a welcoming feel to us.
We left after taking a bite of the food, which took an hour to get to us.
The one cool thing was a window decal which made it look like there was a ferry outside. I took a picture so now you don't have to waste your time here.
First off come to Port Townsend! What a cute town. Then when you do, have some breakfast here. The view is incredible and the staff is so friendly. The music choice for us was also spot on, solid 90’s country. 😉 This got our day off to a great start. I went with the bacon and eggs. Simple and delicious. My husband had OJ, french toast, toast, bacon and hash browns. He said all but the hash browns were very good. He wasn’t a fan of the taste of oil they were cooked in.
Had pie and coffee. Apple/Pecan and Cherry. Other guest had strawberry shortcake with ice cream. Our pies were very small and just tasted okay. Not bad but not great. Service was great though and a great view. Fish and chips entree looked huge so maybe next time I will try that and upgrade the rating.
Since this review we came back and had a great meal for 6 of us. Waitress was great. Above and beyond good service. I had a Captains platter and it was phenomenal. Everybody were pleased. I will return.

I went here for my first time today. It was amazing! I had absolutely no idea this museum and restoration shop was even here. This place helps kids get in to aviation too. I loved it. If I didn't live so dang far, I would definitely volunteer as an A
Wonderful park with great play areas and beautiful quiet areas to contemplate the universe. Be sure to check out the bench swing and many secret gardens
We LOVE Marina Cafe! They have lunch everyday that comes with a salad, chips, cookie and soda and whatever hot sandwich/wrap is made for the day. On Thursday through Saturday evenings, they now have tapas, beer, cider and wine and it is the best thin
Our favorite restaurant in Port Townsend! So good we went 2 nights in a row during our trip. We came back for their amazing pasta and ice cream! The seasonal ice cream was apple pie and itâs the best! Their devil eggs and scallops are our favorites
My wife and I drove up from Poulsbo for the day to be tourists. We asked a local merchant for a recommendation. He gave us 3 choices and we chose the Fountain Cafe. Itâs a block from the main road but worth the walk.
Wow. The food was fantast
