No frills motel. Clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet. They'd earn an extra star if there were coffee anywhere on the property. But there is good coffee a short walk away at a few different places. I enjoyed my stay. Location is a plus. I visited to witness the mermaid parade. It was easy to get anywhere I wanted to be.
To begin, the on-site parking is free and if you arrive at a decent hour, you’ll score a spot on the roomier side of the lot and be just fine. The “cozier” side of the lot requires a specific set of parking skills. ||||The lobby is grand, albeit not super welcoming as there’s no seating. They clearly want guests to check in and get lost or check out and get out. Check in was smooth and uneventful. ||||Room doors here don’t seem to have peepholes, which we found a bit odd however not problematic. The room we had is spacious and clean. It’s a first floor unit with a unique skylight but no windows. The bathroom only has a spacious, modern shower. The bathroom is clean, however the curtain has mold in one corner. Shower gel and conditioner provided in dispensers in the shower. ||||Lovely full length mirror across from bathroom. 😉||||Cafe style dinette set offers the only in-room seating. No ice machine, in-room fridge or microwave however we brought our cooler and had purchased ice. ||||No closet, rack or even a coat hook is provided so our bags were on the dining chairs the entire time. ||||The only microwave is made available in what looks like a punishment corner for misbehaving children. It’s absolutely disgusting and placed on an absurdly low table that requires one to bend over like a lady of the night to use. ||||Overall, the location is convenient, quiet and pleasant. We’re willing to consider staying again, if our preferred locations are booked and we have no other options. ||||**Families staying here, beware that porn is readily available and requires nothing to access.**
This place has to be one of the worst places I stayed at , no bar hand soap no washcloths the tiniest two towels that you can see no facial tissues the table to sit at was wobbly all over the place not a clock in the room not even a night light lamp. If you want to wash your hands you have to go to the shower where you can find soap in a wall dispenser. Not sure why this place is even open. But they do have parking so I gave them one star.
Not a 5 star hotel, but very nice for the price. Quiet and a good place to sleep and shower. Would stay there again.
The property is not the greatest but it is a bargain for the price. I was asked on multiple occasions by the staff what room I was staying in when walking in. That was the reason for 1 star on the service.
THEEEEEE WORSSSST EVVVVER DON'T DO IT....ROOMS DIRTY ... SHOWER DON'T WORK....PLACE HAS A STALE CIGARETTE SMELL THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PLACE .....STAYED 4/22/22......ONE NIGHT ONLY AND THAT WAS TOO MUCH .... What a great addition to the neighborhood! I've visited a few times and I love the cocktails, the ambiance, and the friendly bartenders. And the food, too, especially the appetizers! My workplace had our holiday happy hour here, and The Canary team

I just reached my one year anniversary at UMA and couldn't be more happy/proud. The core philosophy to "Be Unlimited" is in the name of the school and they practice what they preach. I thought it seemed ambitious to offer so many different martial ar

I must say up front: besides my own impressions after enjoying this place myself, I also know the owner very well. Although, this fact only helps this review, giving a full picture. The reason behind it is that I know what the owner's values are. Amo
