Bayside Motel - Motel in San Leon - 2201 Avenue J, USA

I've been cusious about their to go food place for a while. Was walking by today and saw a big group head in so decided to try it. Chicken stick and combo fried rice were both really good. Cool little mom and pop shop.

I've never stayed at their motel. But the diner they have upfront is one of my favorites on San Leon. Especially for the price. They have the best burgers in San Leon. Even better than the more expensive places. Their chicken on a stick is awesome too. The language barrier makes them seem a little stand offish but they're very friendly and to the point. And have no problem fixing a messes up order. Imo the best, cheapest, and quickest place in San Leon.

Nothing fancy, and if you don't mind cleaning your room just to be safe you'll feel better, but the people are nice that own it, and the Tran Gas Station next door has a lot of grocery items you wouldn't expect, they probably have bed bugs, because we both had a rash of bite like spots on our arms, hands and wrists after about 4 nights, but no proof other than that. But compared to other options in the area, they are cheaper and nicer than anything else.

The rooms are completely drenched in cigarette smell. I am not a fan of AXE Body spray but, I walked to the gas station next door and purchased a bottle of Axe. I then proceeded to spray the ENTIRE content of the bottle in the room in a failed attempt to rid the smell. The rooms are basic to say the least. I would have given it maybe 2 stars if it wasn't for the smell. It is bad. So bad that my nose hair itched! Oh, and bring your own soap. No soap provided. And yeah, bring shower shoes. Rooms are 55 bucks cash only no tax. I doesn't seem to be an unsafe place as some say but, on that note, last night was the first night in a long while that I slept with a round in the chamber...

Not a bad place for the price... 2 queen beds, big shower, and full size fridge. We were there for 2 days, not bugs, no mice, AC worked great... I'd stay again...

Awesome been eating here for years it’s awesome menu has more options since the first time I eat here , awesome people No matter what your or the quantity that you get EVERYTHING is done in 10 minutes

Some friends of mine are staying there. And about 3 months ago my brother and sister-in-law stayed there also..They rooms are spacious. And great customer service.

There is a asian restaurant in front, they have great pork chops !!
