The man who is in charge "Timmy" is a lame failure.... the WiFi doesn't work, ever, the "lawn care" is not adequate....in fact the camper owner is expected to do their own lawn care even though it's "included" in the price of rent....as is the WiFi that doesn't work either. The fishing pond is unfishable because it's covered with pond scum.... Do not think this is a nice place because it really is not nice at all. The pool is 40 years old and green. Worst of all is the fact that the owner expects more from the tenants than he does of himself.... He wants to take your money and give you less than nothing in return.
Office personnel are helpful and friendly. Sites are too small. Roads are too close together. Had to ask my neighbor to move his vehicle so I could leave. Too cramped , won’t be back.
Our Airstream Club stayed here in March of 2024. It’s a lovely campground and the service is top notch. While we were here the owners cooked jambalaya… the best I’ve ever had! The club house is really nice, and the grounds are well kept. Book your stay, won’t be disappointed!
Nice enough place, friendly folks. But not our type of campground - sites are jammed in with no space between and few trees for shade. There is a lovely pond at one end and a swimming pool at the other. Bathhouse/laundry is centrally located to the campground.
The campground is nice and well maintained. It is a little out of the way, and the roads getting there are very narrow. Staff is friendly. There is a rooster crowing all night and all day. Not sure how he manages to do that, but we heard him at all hours.
Management at the park were friendly and accomodating. They arranged for our camping buddies to be close to each other. Utilities were reliable and accessible. Restrooms and laundry were very clean an adequate. We wish they had a room for campers to gather for socializing.
While selling our house in Lafayette, we decided to live (May to mid October) in our RV until buying another. This campground has been terrific and we’ll return when visiting the area. Beautiful and quiet county setting yet close enough for everything you might need. Pam has been a joy to deal with. I highly recommend this campground.
I am a travel nurse and have stayed here for a while. This is probably the nicest park I've been to during my travels. Being a night nurse, I requested a spot that would be quite during the day, so I could sleep. They accommodated that request. This is a very clean, well kept property. It's in a great location. Safe area. The staff is very sweet and friendly. This is a good place to go and relax and for kids. They also host events. Would highly recommend.
