Oh. My. Goodness. I was in Houma to visit another place, and I am so very glad I did. The lady working was very friendly. Admission is $3 cash only. The lady let me do the tour and then go get the money and come back! How cool was that. I offered to go get money before the tour, but she insisted. Such a detailed history of the area. The lifestyle and changes is amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

We had a sorority meeting there. They have a nice meeting room at the back overlooking the bayou. The ladies were able to tour the displays during break and at the conclusion of our meeting.
Had my daughters baby shower here. The decorator was able to make it look so beautiful. Staff (Ms.Pearl Lewis) was so friendly and helpful. It was a perfect day! Not expensive either.❤️
I had an amazing time there. It was a shower I attended for my first grandbaby and it was absolutely amazing. The tour itself is Amazing as well for I had taken part in it last year also. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a small elegant and humble gathering.
Even though this place was "half shutdown" because of COVID-- no audio or digital presentations, but plenty to read and see, and it was really great. Plus free during half shutdown, so hard to beat that. Staff is super friendly and have a crack at the scavenger hunt. Great place for kids.
I love this museum. They always have friendly people working. The exhibits are amazing and informative. I love being able to sit on the porch or by the bayous. It’s in the perfect location down town. And it’s so homey … you can even rent it for functions like baby showers!

Great bar with awesome prices on alcohol! Pool tables, darts, poker machines and a jukebox. I also enjoyed my Saturday there with the DJ they had playing. I canât wait to go again!

What a gem! An amazing, diverse entertainment venue and inside is an immersive artistic experience! So lucky to have stepped into this portal of joy known as the Intracoastal Club. The people there were all so friendly and welcoming and genuinely see
