What a great place to grab some food!!! The staff was so friendly. They let us try samples before we bought our food. We're from Arizona and never had Louisiana food. This place is delicious. Definitely stop in, if your in the area.
I am addicted to the chicken cracklings. They are the best I’ve ever had. The service is as good as the food. Jessie knows what I want before I ask. She always greets me with a smile and takes pride in all she does.
I was pleasantly surprised. Owner was super friendly. Asked questions. Enthusiastic and polite. He works well with the other side of the location as well. Definitely would come back and supporting this business. This is how a small business should be 😄
Super late on the review but finally found the paper with the name. The ladies here took care of me. I love Cajun food and it was my first time in LA. They let me try a bunch of things and I left with 2 bags worth of food. Great food, great service, great prices. Idk when I’ll be in the area again but I’ll definitely be back. My favorite was the boudin balls and the crawfish pie.
Girllllll go get you some of the pepper Jack boudin balls! Best I have ever had! And the best service! Rita and Mr Roland and Erica gave me hands down, best service ever! This is definitely a hidden gem in Hammond! Gotta love the South- some of the best food you’ll ever get is from a gas station!!
Miss Rita Starwood and her assistant were so helpful. They knew just the right sauce for every item. The sausages where banging good, boudin was off the chain and if they have chicken crackling definitely get it with the honey. Miss windy checked out out and was very friendly.
The sweetheart Mia at the counter served my partner and I with such hospitality! Gave us a sample and all! I 100% recommend the food and her awesome service
Food is great, and the employees are polite and helpful. Never expected something so great tucked away in a gas station, but the experience was great every time I've been. Great employees!

Didn't spend time inside the main bar area. I attended a Queer North shore Meetup event and we hung out across the street. I believe that is where the food area is. I was there on a Wednesday evening and the kitchen isn't open Monday through Wednesda
