Baymont by Wyndham Valdosta at Valdosta Mall - Hotel in Valdosta - 1725 Gornto Rd, USA

I was driving to Atlanta for my work. After a long drive i needed a place to relax and I found baymont by Wyndham. When I entered I was welcomed by very friendly and humble staff. Very nice & clean room, comfortable bed. I will definitely come back here.

I was impressed by how clean the hotel was, and despite the large number of cars in the parking lot, the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. we were able to get a good night's sleep and continue our journey feeling refreshed. I would highly recommend Baymont by Wyndham Valdosta at Valdosta Mall, to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay while traveling with kids."

The staff at this hotel are great! Very professional, helpful, kind, and accommodating! They allowed us to park our 18-wheeler in the parking lot over the holiday weekend and even put orange cones around the truck. The room was very big (steps from our truck) with ice cold A/C and an extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Nice hot shower and new vanity with granite top. A very cold mini frig, microwave and led tv with movie channels, sports, and news. The mall is a 2 minute walk across the parking lot with tons of shopping and restaurants all around the hotel. The pool is nice and breakfast was included with our booking. Overall this hotel is very peaceful and the management is working hard to keep it up to date. The property was very clean and inviting! Thank you for providing a budget friendly nice place to spend our weekend!

NewManagement. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. I definitely will use this hotel again the next time I'm passing through valdosta ga i75 exit18. Finding the ice machine between the two buildings, was the only challenge, but the staff helped point me in the right direction. By the way, the ice machine is next to the washer and dryer, just in case you need to get some laundry done quick.

When we arrived at 0200 we just slept in our clothes instead of trying to find somewhere else. As we walked in the smell of mold was so strong we immediately started coughing. There were hairs all over the bed, the comforter looked like my dogs dragged it out through the yard. There was splatters of who knows what all over the walls throughout the room. Dust was about an inch thick on the counters. Toothpaste all over the mirror. The shower was not draining properly because of hair clogging the drain, I wore my shoes in the shower. The floor and shower was disgusting. There was sticky residue and hair stuck to the hair dryer. The only good thing about this place was the bed was comfortable. We told the guy at the front desk and he was just like I’ll tell house keeping and walked off.

We stayed at the Baymont Wyndham for one night. The location is great for people traveling north on I-75 and is walking distance to several restaurants. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our room was shabby, not clean and only one towel was supplied for two people. We did get a second towel easily, but clearly there isn’t attention to detail. Breakfast was available in a nice little room, but it was the typical high sugar motel breakfast so we passed.

Positive: It was affordable, acceptably clean, pet friendly, and had a pool. Negative: It was impossible to close the curtains so privacy and light control was impaired. The sheets were soft but flimsy and did not stay in place on the bed.

Positive: Nothing we could mot even stay at the property we tried multiple rooms and they were all horrible smelling. Negative: The entire experience. Staff was not very helpful. Multiple ppl demanding refunds. Tried multipul room all smelled of mold and/or cigarettes. Rooms were also very dirty un vacuumed. Was promised a refund still have not seen one. Negative: ""
