Baymont by Wyndham Shawnee - Hotel in Shawnee - 4981 N Harrison St, USA

The gentleman behind the counter was very accommodating. We checked in roughly 5 o’clock in the afternoon. The same gentleman was there to service us breakfast. MSA never without a smile on his face. If I’m in the area, I would definitely stay there again

The front door is broken, when I checked in I walked up the doors and I just didn't open when I got from behind the counter came up and push the sliding door over to let me in. There is an odor best described as a stench when you walk in. The winnings on the bed I guess the best be described as a sheet and then a heavy sheet. The pillows are not pillows, they are square small and basically just pillow cases that have something tucked into them. The room I got just by accident was "accessible". The bathroom door was half painted. The shower was unusable. They tried making a handicap accessible but it just was a normal shower head that had a handheld shower head but there's nowhere to hang in the shower head to use it. The top one was just pointed straight into the bathroom and the handheld you just have to tuck into the handicap bar. Not that it mattered because the handheld lake so much from the top sides and bottom that it was unusable. Upon leaving the front door was confirmed as broken because they just had it slid open about 2 ft. The breakfast was severely lacking. Avoid this place because there's just better.

Pulled into Shawnee, Oklahoma during a two day roadtrip drive without a reservation. I was greeted professionally and shown 3 rooms to choose from. Everyone was very stylish and clean with modern design upgrades to the furnishings and very nice quality bedding and soft white bath towels. I did note a small odor in the room, but just turned on the air conditioner and it cleared out quickly. We are picky about cleanliness and have no complaints.

I had 2 different people to check me in and out, the first man was night shift and he was nice and respectful I don't remember his name but Raj-donna the morning shift I will guess checked me out and he was very cool and respectful too. it was a very friendly, nice relaxing stay. the room was clean. Definitely somewhere I will come back to.

Raj and the rest of the staff were great. We had 2 rooms and Raj took the time to make sure they were near each other, held doors for us to bring in our stuff. For breakfast, besides the normal Wyndham continental fare, they had eggs and tater tots and didn't forget to have catsup available.

Positive: The price was good, but you get what you pay for? Negative: The hotel was in need of many repairs. Cosmetically it was not in good condition-windows were cracked and not fixed. Did not feel safe

Was not expecting much after reading reviews honestly, but, wasn't as bad as I expected it to be for our 3 day stay. For the money, the hotel was alright. We had a fairly large group staying at this hotel. Room was clean enough with the exception of one pillow case that had dirty smudges on it that we had to take and get a replacement case for. The beds were very comfortable. The worst thing about our whole stay was no towels. And was like pulling teeth to get any from them. The desk staff acted like the towels were lined in gold when we needed clean ones. This happened with each family in our group staying there. Room was not cleaned the 3 days we were there, which, ok, whatever, but even when we put towels outside the door, they took them but didn't leave clean ones. So again had to do the run around with staff at the desk and then would still only give us 2, no wash cloths, hand towels or bath mat. We were only given 2 wash cloths the entire stay. Ridiculous. There was also one employee that was constantly onto everyone in our group trying to get ice. Is that not why there are ice machines in the hall? There is a small laundry room under the stairs but was out of order. There also is not an elevator, so if you have mobility issues, better make sure your room is 1st floor. The back door on the left side of the building didn't work with room key the majority of our stay, we had to either go around to the front or wait for someone to let us in. I will say they were very accommodating with our early checkout with our games being cancelled from rain out. Probably wouldn't choose this hotel if in this area again.

Nice budget priced hotel. Room was clean, service was friendly. Breakfast was the normal selection of a continental breakfast, plus eggs and potatoes. Yes there were small flaws, so if you're a nit picker don't come here and expect perfection.
