If I could give -10 stars I would. Made reservations online for 2 days (07/05-07/07). Had an outing and returned to our room to have the key “not working”, a guy opened the door and said I have the wrong room. Told him my stuff was in this room and we have it for one more night. He said they switched rooms because his toilet wasn’t working. A worker happened to walk by and he escorted me to the front desk to straighten things out. They “cleaned” the room and took my belongings out to the front desk. The workers weren’t there to explain why that was done. That was totally unacceptable and very unprofessional. The room wasn’t cleaned the best. I would never stay there again.||update: talked to the manager and since I booked online they weren’t able to switch my rooms in the computer system (was assigned an easily accessible room which I didn’t need) but the receptionist left a note stating I didn’t need the room and she put me in a different one. “Somehow” the note was thrown away so that was why my room was cleared and belongings removed
Stepped on a huge dead roach over an inch. I wish I would have taken a pic but panicked and flushed. Microwave and fridge have not been cleaned. Killed 2 roaches as of midnight when I'm writing this. Mirrors are so filthy you can see a dirty handprint. Shower curtain is gross. Room smells like cigarettes. I think people are living behind the motel in the woods.Had I not been so tired I would leave. If there is a local owner they should be ashamed of this.
This place is for druggies. Scratched all night because I feared of bed bugs even though I checked. There was what looked to be a blood spot on the bed the next day. So I still have my luggage outside 5 days later, I’m not convinced. Nobody is professional here. It will be condemned in less than 5 years because clearly they have no plans to maintenance it. Microwave doesn’t work. And ugh Bugs and lack of cleaning is just insane! Need to drop the price. I don’t understand why I can’t add pictures. The beds were actually comfy.
HVAC unit was leaking a lot of water, response was well we can give you towels...it leaked for 2 night straight.|Been cover had a yellow stain who knows could've pee, apple juice or whatever. Office chair with broken handles was seating by tye closet for what reason? Don't know! ||Room 207||Nasty place ....never again!

It was bad. We only stayed because there was no other property available that would take our dog. Bathroom was filthy, had noyt been cleaned properly in a long time. Fridge had mold in it. Micriwave was dirty, and had chipped and flaking paint. On the inside. Furniture was mismatched, old and in bad shape. Looked like it came from a thrift store. Only decent thing I can say is that the beds were new, clean and we didnt see bugs. The curtains werent even hung right. Felt like a low rent flop house.
I hate to give a bad review because the man in the office was so nice....however, this room is so dirty! The fridge and microwave have not been cleaned, the shower curtain has mold along the bottom. The mirrors had hand prints somehow and were just filthy. The housekeeper must come in make the bed and watch tv. The room smells like cigarettes even though there is a sign saying no smoking. Again this is nothing against the man that checked us in but whoever owns this motel should be ashamed. If I had not been to exhausted to drive anymore I would have never stayed.
The room was not fit to be occupied. The ceiling above the window was black with mold. The room floor was sticky. The walls were marked up. The furnishings were scratched and dinged up. My husband nearly slipped on the slick bathtub, I wouldn't even get in it. Breakfast wasn't ready at the time they advertised on the entrance door, which was locked.

I go to Martindale because Tractor Supply is located here. Love that store because the things needed for country life ( even for city folk whom just like the life style) are found here. The staff is alway nice and welcoming.
