Baymont by Wyndham Owatonna - Hotel in Owatonna - 245 Florence Ave, USA

This hotel was pretty nice honestly. The check-in process was simple and easy. Got up to our room and were pleasantly surprised with the spacious area we had. The sink was outside the bathroom which we prefer since there was 3 of us adults and this just makes everything easier for us while getting ready. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows also were pretty decent. They had a laminated sheet with TV channels on it which just makes it more convenient for watching TV. The wifi worked well. We ate at the Applebees just south of the hotel since it was so close, though the front desk gal recommended a different restaurant for us (we were just tired from a long flight back from Switzerland, so we wanted to go eat and come back to the room and sleep). The bathroom could use a little updating but the shower worked fine in ours and the water pressure was actually pretty decent. Breakfast was kind of lackluster, not a lot of options like we are used to, the refrigerator didn't have much in it. The only hot items were scrambled eggs and sausage (the sausage was quite good), waffles and pancakes. They did have oatmeal packets. I would definitely stay here again regardless of the breakfast!

THIS place was awesome! I know most people leave negative reviews. But this place needs to be promoted as a good stay! The staff was super nice. The lobby and decor was new and fresh. The breakfast was YUM! I kept telling my husband that I should leave a good review! We like to do weekend get-a-ways and many places are so-so. We were very pleased! There's an Apple Bee's right there if you want some food but the staff at the Baymont can fix you up a pub-style pizza and they also have a good bar!

The handicap accessible room was great! The bathroom had many assist bars where needed. The walk-in shower had a seat and handheld shower wand. The towels were definitely better than the usual hotel quality. We really appreciated the automatic entrance doors which made it easier for us. The breakfast included many tasty selections. All staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We'd definitely stay here again!!!

Front desk staff were very helpful, and nice. The rooms however needed help. The carpets were filthy, the bathroom had mold, and the room smelled like cigarette smoke even though the hotel was supposedly smoke-free. Housekeeping never showed up, and there was never even an apology from the hotel. They did however bring towels up. Lock on door on the side of the hotel was broken, anybody could have walked into the hotel. There was also some suspicious activity between several cars in the parking lot. The bathroom was the size of a closet also. Definitely not worth what I paid. The best thing about the hotel was the breakfast in the morning. Definitely wouldn't stay again

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very, very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean. The pool was nice and the hot tub was too. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I recommend this hotel out of all of the others in the area. they have a nice seating area outside and games in the pool room. Stay at this hotel, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for a great stay!

Rooms are clean and well made up. Excellent place to stay. Breakfast in the mornings were hot and had plenty. If coffee ran out there was another pot out quickly. Super!!

Great place to stay. The hotel staff is very friendly, there is a little pub on site and snacks/drinks for additional purchase which is helpful for last-minute items. Internet is very stable and the access to additional area in the lobby for comfortable work is an added benefit. This location has a pool and decent fitness area along with plenty of places to grab a decent meal. Really love that it is right around the corner from my company's corporate office.

This was a great choice. We got a great deal and it was quite as I spent most of the week working in the room while my teen was out playing. Did not like that the pool was down almost every day until late afternoon
