Baymont by Wyndham Montgomery AL - Hotel in Montgomery - 5924 Monticello Dr, USA

This is the cleanest hotel I have stayed in over the last 10 years. It's centrally located, convenient to all businesses on Eastern Blvd. The staff were ALL helpful and courteous. Rooms beautifully arranged, and lovely foliage in lobby. These owners know how to give exceptional customer service. I loved my nights here and would highly recommend to anyone. This is now my favorite and go to hotel for overnight in Montgomery, Alabama. A true gem. Thank you owner and staff for a relaxing and quiet stay.

Staff there is really nice. Issues I've had they addressed it promptly. This isn't the Hilton or the Drury Inn across the street, but if you're looking for good sleep, clean rooms, nice staff, central location without breaking the bank, it's a good place to stay. Only con I have is they don't have a full breakfast. But they do provide an assortment of snacks in the morning.

Overall this hotel is quite isolated off the main road. The rooms are spacious and quite. I am a little disappointed they don't have any laundry facilities for guests. Vending machines are on the first floor near the elevator. Staff is helpful and courteous. I'll likely stay here if the situation calls for it again in the future.

Very friendly staff and always helpful! The hotel is old and has to get some renovations done but the rooms are very clean and spacious. For our stay we really loved it there. Free parking, breakfast to go, free WiFi and smiling faces from the management. The rooms are well organized, comfortable beds, microwave and fridge available and a large bathroom. We definitely can recommend this place for singles, couples and families with kids.

I spent the most peaceful Friday night here! Scenery inside was peaceful nature. I didn’t hear guest next door or under me! It was clean & didn’t allow smoking so I didn’t have to deal with that horrible smell. Allows pets but couldn’t smell them either! I was so comfortable I didn’t get up for breakfast so I can’t tell you about that but the sleep I got was lovely! Nice huge room!

Great no-frills budget find. Current owners have clearly put a lot of love into an older building. The courtyard with old ornamental trees is a peaceful centerpiece. Location was safe, quiet, and convenient (via short drive) to central Montgomery. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by. Some of the building updates (like cafe renovation) are still works in progress, so set expectations accordingly. Not a luxury stay, but very neat and clean and 100% free of the smoke smells common to older hotels. Can’t beat the value for the cost! Would definitely stay here again.

Positive: The room was nice and comfortable and the lobby area was very nice. We like the location but had allot of trouble finding the motel. Negative: Yes we did, about 2:30am we were awakened by a couple about 30ft. from our room having an argument at their car outside the rear exit door and very loud. I went down to the front desk but no one was there. Found out clerk was out trying to quiet them down

Stayed in this hotel more than once, the manager has no heart ! We stayed here a couple time me and my fiance . We ran out of hotel money and had to sleep in the car and he told us to leave that we couldn’t sleep outside in the car and we asked him he said to go somewhere else. Last night November 8,2023 I was robbed and someone took my safe and my radio out of my car. The employees explained that no one could show us the camera except for the manager. We let the manager know , and he showed no concern , he kept saying well we don’t keep up with customers personal belongings , I never asked him to do a hunt down or nothing all me and my fiance asked was to see the surveillance cameras! He also said that he would have to get the camera footage sent over to him , so he basically lied ! Something makes me feel like the manager knows what happened and didn’t want to say anything !
