Baymont by Wyndham Monterey Park - Hotel in Monterey Park - 434 Potrero Grande Dr, USA

Husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel and we enjoyed the stay. It was clean and love the fact that breakfast and parking is included. The hotel was very clean including my room it was clean. I was also happy that the bed was comfortable. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel.

Decent hotel, rooms were a really good size and I got a really good view of LA City skyline. Parking in the underground car park was excellent. Only let down was the WiFi was intermittent and slow which is a must as someone who’s travelled from abroad.

UPDATE: The general manager, Kathleen Wyner, made the decision to kick me out following this interaction. She didn't give me until the end of the day, but rather told me "you've got 20 minutes". She also made a point to let me know that room services are not and have not been available here for some time, though they're advertised in the accommodation books that the hotel puts in every room. Disabled veteran or not... Stay here AT. YOUR. OWN. RISK! Review: Good Morning, I'm having a really terrible experience at the Baymont by Wyndham, and I feel like the front desk staff is trying to keep me from bringing this to your attention. I'm in town for 3 weeks, for work, and have run into nothing but issues here. I'm hearing disabled, and there was some kind of miscommunication this morning that led to me being harassed by the front desk staff. My room phone hasn't been operational the whole time I've been there. This morning, however, a front desk representative of the hotel constantly harassed me via this supposedly nonoperational phone and him beating on my door so vigorously, I barely felt safe opening the door. In addition to today's harassment, the advertised hot tub is "under construction", room service is unavailable as the room phones only work if the front desk wants to harass someone, and the Internet is so bad I couldn't even complete an interview. I asked the front desk to speak with you and they told me to call the front desk number and ask for you. I hope you can see the conflict of interest there, and why I'm concerned this could be happening to other people. Please help! It was great hotel. We booked a king room and the room was very spacious. The highlight was free covered Parking and amazing breakfast. The only thing is location is a bit away from downtown and other stuff but it doesn’t matter because free parking and free breakfast make up for this.

2 stars for breakfast. The best thing was breakfast. If you are daily tourist, get ready for 100 dollar for insurance deposit. If you don’t have money go and find another hotel. If you don’t trust the clients, before checkout go and check the room for damages. This is ridiculous. My bank still didn’t pay 100 dollar to bank account because Im tourist and I don’t have Bank of America card.

Positive: Beds where nice and comfortable. Good breakfast. Negative: Not really, but if I had to nit pick my view was of a power substation. Big deal right?

This hotel is in renovation, the room had a bit mildew smell but was gone by the next few hours of being there, the breakfast was great, can't eat in your room though, you have to sit and eat your breakfast in the dinning area. Parking is under the hotel so there is a very low driveway in and out. It is located on the highway, we were either 20 to 30 mins from Hollywood and it wasn't a bad drive. Shopping mall around the corner from the hotel. I wouldn't stay there again, but it worked for the cost and got good sleep for my three nights.

Normally I stay at military lodging while vacationing unless I'm in need of a resort atmosphere. On this current roadtrip I needed a quick one night rest approx 15miles from Hollywood CA. McArthur Airforce base is under renovation, which was my choice in the past. This hotel was along my route, descent price, located right off interstate. Front desk check in was fast and courteous. Rooms spacious and clean. Free underground parking with elevator entrance. I was good until 0430 am when the customers above me checked in, holy cow the noise. Yes the ceilings and walls are thin, this is an old hotel. Yes, they need to update and fix the issue. Customer should not be inconvenienced with the noise. Breakfast at 0600 and we out, onward to our next destination. Other than the noise, which is huge when your trying to sleep. Tip: it's definitely a one nighter kinda place. Happy Travels @glampedlife
