Baymont by Wyndham Mequon Milwaukee Area - Hotel in Mequon - 10330 N Port Washington Rd, USA

I would not recommend this hotel. The area itself is quite lovely, very safe, but the hotel is dated, it is over-priced, breakfast was not good. Bathroom products were not stocked sufficiently, so we ended up having to request extra toilet paper. And I always value that hotel that does a daily refresh on the small bar of soap, rather than using the teeny bar over multiple days. Hard to regulate the air conditioning. ||||But the window view was lovely!

We had a great stay at the Baymont. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was awesome! The breakfast was very satisfying. Large parking lot, didn't feel crammed in between tight spaces. Will definitely return for another visit when we are in town.

Most of the people writing reviews for this hotel may be expecting high-tech or modernized decor, but honestly I appreciate the older decor because it feels cozy, safe, and welcoming. It’s nice to run into a hotel like this once in a while. The staff is so incredibly friendly. Our room was clean & tidy. If you’re like me, I still did a thorough clean before settling in but for the most part, you don’t need to. This is a nice spot to spend a little night away with family. We enjoyed the swimming pool area and the morning breakfast was quick and easy—just right. Parking is super spacious. Again, I do feel a lot of people need to spend a night in jail then come here because it really isn’t bad at all. It’s cute, comforting, and peaceful. My boys enjoyed it. There’s shopping, gas, grocery, and other things to do surrounding the area. I hope to come back when we are around. Thank you to the staff for providing a great stay for my family and I. We need these type of hotels around because the modernized ones can become too much at times. Side-note: You do have to apply a $100 deposit but I got it back a couple hours after leaving. I hope all of you writing bad reviews can just learn to appreciate the simple things. ☺️

They offer free coffee but don't supply the correct cups for hot beverages. They have foam cups that are not rated for hot beverages. When I confronted them, they acted like they didn't have any. So I found some cups that are meant for hot beverages and they got put up the next day. Then when I went the next day there was no more cups at all. The manager put them all up either to scam the company from ordering more products for their company that's offering hot beverages 24 hours a day, everyday of the week. I find that behavior odd and the manager would give me a dirty look like I was doing something wrong. All I'm trying to do is save your company from a potential lawsuit.

This hotel is clean. Absolutely no complaints on cleanliness. For an old hotel, it is very clean. The night desk clerk was very friendly. The daytime reception needed a lesson in friendliness. The price for this hotel is very reasonable for people. We used the military discount which is not very common anymore. We were grateful for the discount. Especially when paying for a hotel because of an ongoing medical treatment at a local hospital. Unfortunately the hotel is tired and desperately needs an interior update to bring it out of the 1990s and some exterior upkeep to make the parking lot safer. I haven't heard people on the floor above in a hotel in many years, however, this hotel has thin walls/ceilings and we heard people walking above us the entire time we were there. IF YOU NEED A HANDICAP/ACCESSIBLE ROOM: CALL THE HOTEL with your needs before booking a room. We booked a roll-in shower room and it was given to another guest because they had a wheel chair when we also needed the roll-in/walk-in shower. We were given a tub and the hotel boasted about their "grab bars" which doesn't cut it when a guest needs a roll-in shower. Also, there are no handicap accessible rooms on floors above the first because this hotel does not have an elevator. There is a lot of retro-fitting in this hotel. It desperately needs a remodel.

Overall pretty pleasant stay. Rooms were clean, pool was clean and open. A few very inconsequential but maddening things (trying to get clean towels, the vending machine accepting money), and the staff could have been a bit friendlier, but overall satisfied with my stay.

Beds and pillows are great, breakfast is awesome! Check in is quick and easy always someone there to help out...Staff is great! Rooms are clean and nice size... Great hotel all around, will be back again if I'm in the area! Best place to stay in Mequon!

Clean, quiet. Staff is a little awkward and not overly friendly, a few small frustrating things (getting clean towels, trying to get the vending machine to take my money, my card got declined for some reason) but the beds are comfortable, the pool facility is decent, breakfast is edible.
