Rooms were clean. Staff friendly. Pillows not very good. Bring your own. Bathroom/ Shower needs to be updated. The vending machine was a black box you put quarters in. Old school. Looks like rooms recently updated. Not bad for the money. We stopped in at 1am and the staff was great.
This is definitely a family owned hotel. The customer service was spectacular. The room was clean enough, yet the floor needed mopping. The breakfast was continental if you like cereal and juice. The jacuzzi tub worked well; however, it was slow to drain. The price was reasonable despite the area lacking amenities. The area and the hotel lacked activities. This place is perfect for rest and continuing your journey.
Room was clean Towels fluffy and better than most hotels. Unfortunately a service pet had evidently been in our room and it needs Natures Miracle or something similar applied to the floor. Probably several times. |Really appreciated that it had a refrigerator w freezer so we could refeeze our cooler ice packs. |Breakfast included and egg that wasn’t mixed with a meat. So appropriate for all. By the way the pool we saw in the website photos is now a concrete slab. If you want to swim choose another location
Wow, for an outside entrance motel, this place is fantastic. Freshly painted exterior. Well managed grass lawns. Clean and comfortable rooms. The room fridge is basic without a freezer, but the ice machine dispatces copiuus quantities. Cookies in the lobby. Brew machine for great flavored coffee. Although space challenged for breakfast services, they make great use of the space and have a hot food offering. We had biscuits and sausage gravy with a lot of sausage in the gravy. Wonderful! Our only issue was that the handicap shower floor was very slippery. We advised management, and they will place nonskid strips on the floor. It is worth driving to Manning from other cities nearby to stay here.
I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was also a treat and enjoyed the selections of food. I would certainly recommend The Baymont Hotel in Manning, SC. to those who need a safe, clean, friendly place to stay during their travels.
The service was beyond great. The rooms were very nice and the price beyond affordable. And the best part for me was that they had a guest laundry room…..very convenient. If I am ever in the area again, this hotel is definitely where I will be staying.
This older hotel is very well maintained. The family that owns it obviously takes great pride in their business. I will definitely mark this on the map to use for my many trips when traveling from Florida to North Carolina. It is close to many restaurants. They a continental breakfast, and biscuits and gravy. They do require a $50 security deposit, returned at checkout. Cost is $80. per night, out the door.
The Baymont in Manning was a pretty nice place to stay considering it’s a 2-star hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. One surprising item was a display case with free chocolate chip cookies that caught my eye upon check-in. The free breakfast did not offer cooked breakfast foods (eggs, sausage, bacon) but they did have a good selection of breads, bagels, waffles, muffins, cereal, juice and yogurt. With that selection, I did not leave hungry. I noticed that the room I was in (217) had been updated at some point and looked nice. Wood-look vinyl sheet flooring instead of dingy carpet like some older motels, which is an improvement in my book! I could tell that the one-piece tub/shower unit was old just by its appearance. It had many signs of age but I can overlook that for a single nights stay. I know the cost of replacement of these tub units is very costly but I do hope they choose to replace them in the near future. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others and I will stay again in the future if the need arises.
We had the wings and shrimp and grits. The food was amazing. They are a super nice family run business. My wings were cooked perfectly, juicy, and the Gullah sauce is an amazing sweet heat I've never had before. My wife's shrimp and grits were a welc
coming up from the Charleston area. we were told this was a little treat in the middle of nowhere and they weren't lying. if you really want to just get away head up towards Santee there are some really great courses up here. this is probably my favo
I had a piece of Fish Coleslaw & Hushpuppy both were delicious the Fish was very fresh. My husband had a Bacon Double Cheeseburger he thought was delish. Very courteous and helpful staff.
Hopped off I-95 and grabbed some Mexican food. My wife really likes it. I had a burrito, she had a chimichanga, and our kid had the taco salad. It was solid food at a decent price, and their chips and salsa are good too!
Great place to find sheets, towels, and rugs. Sell some storage furniture, and decorative items for your home in addition to the clothing, food items, and toys....great store!
Was the quickest stop on our 21 hours of driving over the last week! They make the food and shakes super fast. Itâs the best shake Iâve ever had!! Peanut butter fudge with Reeseâs!
We don't have any Zaxby's near us in the northeast, so we had to try it once on the way back from Florida. This was a great decision as it is now my favorite fast food place due to their decadent garlic bread and excellent chicken sandwiches! I loved
