Baymont by Wyndham Mandan Bismarck Area - Hotel in Mandan - 2611 Old Red Trail, USA

Our trip was a good trip until we stayed at this place. Thee worst stay ever in my life! After driving for 8 hours, I thought me and my family of 7 could use a good nights rest. We booked two rooms. The first room was okay. The second room, the door was left open. So we knocked on the door thinking maybe the front desk gave us the wrong room. Nobody was in the room. But, there was butt cheek imprints at the edge of the bed. The A/C was making weird noises and it was very hot in that room. I went to go use the phone and the cord was unhooked from the phone. I used my cellphone to call the front desk to tell them what we discovered. The young man was nice and gave us different rooms. So the third room had a very burnt stench to it. Our kids said it gave them headaches. Our fourth room we thought was okay. It had a smell of tea tree oil. I thought nothing of it until I woke up the next day and had bed bug bites all over. My husband had bites as well. Two of our kids had bed bug bites. I have called this hotel multiple times to speak to a manager. Still no one has contacted me yet. Do not, I repeat do not stay here!

We had a meal catered while staying here and it was awesome! Chef Jeff did a great job preparing a very tasty meal for 50+. Banquet server, Lucy was incredibly accommodating and attentive. She was so kind and always had a smile on her face. I highly recommend using them for catering!||The rooms were clean, however the hallways and drapes in guest rooms definitely need some TLC. Staff was all very friendly which made the stay enjoyable. If they cleaned more in depth, I would rate the location much higher.

I originally showed up very upset. Our daughter stayed in July and was double charged. Called at least 10 times. Left voicemail for the manager. No responds. I drove to Mandan. 100 miles to deal with this situation. The young lady at the front desk was kind, and helpful. She even said that this could've been dealt with over the phone and the refund could've been done by anyone. I appreciate your honesty and willingness to resolve the issue. I'm only sorry I didn't catch your name. You deserve a promotion. ( Front desk Thursday morning Aug 29th)

Disappointing Stay with Multiple Issues I was granted a late check-out at check-in, which I appreciated. However, my experience quickly went downhill. When I arrived in my room, I found that the air conditioner wasn’t working, leaving the room uncomfortably warm all night. The next morning, I discovered the shower water was only lukewarm, and to top it off, the blow dryer fell off the wall when I tried to use it. Despite the late check-out, a housekeeper tried to enter my room at 11:00 AM, disrupting my morning. When I went to the front desk to speak with the manager, the attendant did nothing to find someone to assist me. I left my phone number but never received a call back. Overall, my stay was disappointing, and the lack of follow-up from the staff only added to my frustration. I hope the hotel addresses these issues for future guests.

We were at the Baymont for a banquet and the dinner was excellent! The food choices were interesting and unexpected. There were stuffed chicken breasts and they were moist and perfectly cooked! The beef tips were tender and delicious! The servers were friendly and very attentive. I was very impressed! Eva , Rylie and Lucy were especially helpful!! It was a wonderful evening and I will not hesitate to attend another banquet at the Baymont!

Horrible stay. I stayed here for 2 nights during a baseball tournament. I had to schedule 2 different bookings for the same stay. When I checked in I was told I would be in the same room for the 2 nights. Got up the next morning and went to baseball, came back that evening and entered my room where another couple was sleeping. All my things were missing, no one knew where they went. Around 11 am the next day, my things were found, however, I had a lot of stuff missing. I was told to write it all down and a manager would be in touch, no one has contacted me. I was charged for 2 nights with no explanation and no compensation for my stolen things.

Shirley, Nora, Lucy, Jessica, Macie, Reese and Karen, banquet waitresses, were phenomenal! They were fast, attentive and very friendly. These ladies were so good! Very much appreciated to serve our family so well at the wedding! The food was good too! Thank you!

This hotel is absolutely filthy and the staff are awful. We booked a stay here through Expedia, the photos looked nice and clean. We got there and the floors were stained ALL over and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. This place was one giant stain: the carpets were stained, the tub, the pillow, the chairs were all stained. After seeing everything we turned around and left, we wouldn't stay there. My husband asked the front desk woman for a refund telling her the place was filthy and she said she wasn't authorized to give refunds and she refused to contact the manager to come back and give us a refund. She blew off the filth in the hotel as it just being an older hotel. We contacted Expedia and the hotel is refusing to give us a refund through Expedia for a disgusting room that we didn't even stay the night in. It is false advertising on Expedia, those photos look nice this place is gross in real life.
