Positive: "" Negative: No coffee pot in the room.? the guests on the floor were smoking pot in their room, they were yelling & screaming & nothing was done about it. My 3 dogs were quiet & I was charged more for them. Conducted themselves better than the humans!

Needed a room for a trip layover. Pulling into the parking lot, the building seemed very dumpy, splotches of paint off the exterior. Check in was good and the clerk was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, however during the night after flushing the toilet the flapper stuck and we woke up to a flooded half room. Told the morning clerk, not sure he even understood what we said. Guess you get what you pay for here.

First the good part: beds were quite comfortable and the room was clean enough. But...the access to the place is quite awkward, coming as it does right after an interchange/overpass on a busy street. The place has obviously been taken over from a previous other brand (I can't think which, but I feel as if I should have recognized it) and has not been spruced up very well. The room had very limited space for us to open out our luggage and the bathroom was so small that the only way two people could be in it at once was if one was in the bathtub. (And you couldn't use the toilet without completely closing the door.) And my husband could not get a shower because the shower selector knob was stuck in the bathtub mode. The breakfast was so-so, although it was available until 9:30. The waffle batter seemed clearly diluted and made very lightweight waffles. The next time we stay in Lawrence, we will know to spend a few more dollars and stay in a more convenient up-to-date place.

Based on the relative cost, we should have realized that this was a bottom to your property. But with the Wyndham name, we expected it to be better. The property common areas are tired and dated. That’s not a problem they were clean enough and it’s not like we were hanging out in the lobby. The room was relatively clean but the bathroom was not. Lots of deferred or sloppily, executed maintenance. Paint, caulk, Trim with water damage. The mattresses are well indented from use. (Though surprisingly comfortable). For a brief stay, when we were there for campus tours, and not spending much time on the property, it served its purpose. I likely would not stay there again though.

Positive: The staff was very friendly and helpful, the whole hotel was spotless and the breakfast, although minimal, was tasty. Negative: The parking lot needs repairs and the exterior of the building could use some work.

Pros: Quiet overall, nice view out the back to trees, the heater in the room worked well. The hallways were well-lit, bathroom in the room was decent. Cons: My main complaints were related to the rooms and condition of the facility. There was a discgusting smell in the room. It smelled like there had been previous smokers there. The door to the hotel room had a crack next to the frame so large that you could almost see through the room, and it let light into the room from the hallway at night. There were stains on the bedskirts, the remote control was dirty (no excuse for not cleaning those especially with past Covid). Curtains were dirty, window was dirty. There were cracked tiles in the hallway by the elevator. The vending machines were dirty. I would not stay here again.

My girlfriend and I stayed here recently and had a great experience. That room was clean and the people were nice. Checking in and out was easy and smooth. Location is nice near I-70 and lots of places to eat nearby. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Great hotel to stay in staff was pretty nice, really really clean and friendly place, motel had a fresh paint outside which was really attractive,rates of the rooms was pretty decent, had all the rooms were non smoking, for me was a plus point right there, will definitely be staying here in the future close to lots of shopping and food..
