Baymont by Wyndham Kirksville University Area - Hotel in Kirksville - 2702 S Franklin St, USA

Refrigerator had trash in it. Bathroom had empty shampoo bottle in the shower. The desk lamp had a broken switch and had to be plugged in to power on, and unplugged to turn off. The pool has been out of service for years and is empty, and the rooms are basic and dated. The breakfast was good and the a/c is great! I recommend it for the working person who just needs a place to sleep and shower for a reasonable price. The front desk was great! 👍🏻

We stayed here for are sons college graduation and are stay was good. The staff was great they did anything in there power to give us a good stay. Are A/c stopped working and with a few hrs we they had it working great for us. Bed was awesome and rooms were clean. Fridge microwave etc. they even let us check in early. also the breakfast was pretty good. The only reason I didnt give a five star was cause the pool was down and my family was really looking forward to it. I really feel that it should have been mentioned before check in maybe at booking since they do advertise it . Otherwise not a bad place we would stay again.

The rooms are always clean and nice. The breakfast is great. The staff is beyond amazing. I always feel safe and comfortable staying here either with my family or by myself. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay in Kirksville. Bonus they have a hotel cat Henry Marbles and he makes my work trips feel like home.

Our stay at the baymont was ok if it were a slum hotel. The romote to the tv was gone and there was no towels to be had. They had to take both the towels and the remote from another room. The coffee maker in our room was dusty and dirty as it looked like it has never been cleaned. The floors and toilets in the bathroom had not been cleaned and smelled like urin. The next morning we went down for breakfast, pause... I have to say at this point this is NOT our first time at this particular hotel, so we have had the breakfast here before and it was always pretty good for hotel food. The dining area was always clean and the food was always hot. The morning we went down for breakfast there was only a couple buscuits and some sausage links and eggs with chopped ham. All of which was cold. I asked the guy who seemed to be charge if he had cooked the food and he said no, he had just put it out there. Come to find out later, the food was leftovers from the day before that he was to throw out and didnt. We were utterly disgusted. Dont eat the food there, it isnt cooked right. Unfortunately, the kind of food they cook there makes them a food establishment and it could hurt someone. BEWARE!!!

Maybe not the newest but very clean, caring and comfortable. Staff were wonderful and cheerful and helpful, especially Mary. Room was great, quiet and spotless. Breakfast was hot and tasty. I would stay again, especially if they make more cookies!

Worst stay of my life. Rooms were incredibly disgusting. My team had to stay here for our championships. Rooms had bed bugs, had not been cleaned, and were utterly disgusting. Rooms smelled of cigarettes and some just smelled horrible. Horrible. Front desk people were nice, as it is not their fault. Owners of hotel need to do better. Worst stay, wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

My room was exceptionally clean props to my house keeper Elizabeth did an awesome job. My room felt as if it was brand new. Nathaniel at the front desk was extremely helpful from getting me a late checkout and freeing my stuck snack in the vending machine. Breakfast was on point had variety and tasted good. Location couldn’t be any better it’s close to all the chain stores and restaurants but out of the way enough it wasn’t overwhelming with people 5 star will definitely stay again

Was not a clean hotel. My room smelled of urine when you first walked in. Outdated is an understatement if you read that in other reviews. The drywall is literally bowing down and coming off the wall. No towels were in my room which wasn’t bad I just went to the desk and asked for some. Things in the room were missing like the blow dryer, only part of it was attached to the wall. The worst part was pulling back the blanket and sheet and finding hair (not just one but A LOT) in the bed. The floors did not seem to be swept or vacuumed as there were lots of debris and more hair.
