Baymont by Wyndham Franklin - Hotel in Franklin - 2122 Holiday Ln, USA

Check in was relatively easy. We had requested a late check in because our flight would late in the evening. We then received a notice that we hadn't checked in. The room wasn't bad. The grout in the tub needs to be redone as it was showing some mold. The furniture looks worn and misplaced (there was a "table" by the desk that had holes in the top as if something had been attached at some point). The eating area was disgusting. Hand written signs that were misspelled and had food stains on them. Coffee grounds on the floor and in the corner along with other dirt. When we asked for an additional pillow we were told sure. After 30 minutes we called again and the same lady said "oh I can't bring it to you." The air conditioner blew the curtains open so it was hard to sleep because of the light. When asked for clothes pins or binder clips to keep the curtains closed we were told they didn't have any.

The photos posted online are very misleading. The hotel is very worn and dirty. I checked in after 10:30 pm. It was noisy, as there were kids playing in the hallway. The room smelled mildewy, the carpet isn't clean and the bathtub was dirty. In addition to the cost of the room ($122 total for one night), they also added $100 for a security deposit, which they did not inform me of. When I asked about the charge they said that they have to do this because people have stolen items and damaged the property. Apparently I need to check to make sure the deposit is removed after "a few days". THIS PLACE IS A DUMP. When I left in the morning I noticed that pain is chipping off the exterior of the building. I would have given it one star, but threw in the extra star because the bed was comfortable.

As we pulled up, the place needs work. No grounds keeping. Rusted cigarette but can spilling over. Grass needing cut for weeks. Landscaping overgrown, and paint peeling. Usually the staff can carry this to a decent review. The room wasn't bad. But needs work. The pool was beautiful, but closed. No reason given. We needed some dental floss. Sorry they don't carry that. Not a big deal. The big strike came with the pillows. We had three pillows on a queen bed. 2 looked and felt like a bag of socks. Asked the night manager if they had another. Didn't check, or think about it. Just "no". Eff you night manager. This made for a tough night sleep. Which is the whole reason for spending $150 at their hotel. We will notbe staying again. And will avoid the brand in the future. Staff needs to dress for the job. Clean the exterior up, and get the service together.

Filthy hotel. There is dirt everywhere. The floors were dirty and didn’t get swept, every glass window had smear marks, splash marks, and fingerprints. Our mattress had stains on it, as well as the furniture in the room. Our carpet was dirty and the room had a weird deodorizer and musty smell. The tub had visible mold growth. On the morning we were leaving, I discovered that the PEEPHOLE WAS MISSING! Standing in the hallway, I had a clear view of our entire room! Never again. I booked this hotel through Hotels.com and they have removed my review. Buyer beware!

This hotel is in desperate need of attention. The paint is peeling off of the outside, there was a cigarette butt receptacle outside the front door overflowing with butts and smelling. The exterior lock directly adjacent to our room (end of the parking lot) was not working. The room had not been cleaned. The toilet had the previous guests' hair on it, there was dirt on the bathroom floor and I found a previous guests' earring by the bed. Behind the bathroom door the door frame was rusted through and the grout missing between the tub and tile, thus a hole in the floor. I lysol-wiped the surfaces myself and did not speak to management. The room was missing a hairdryer; however, the front desk provided me one when I asked. They also had a disposable razor for my husband, so that was helpful. We stayed over race weekend, and it was convenient to our family's home, but we do not anticipate staying there again.

The room is beautiful and roomy. Ironing board, flat screen TV with full cable. Full bathroom and the sink is actually in the bathroom. It is quiet and we enjoyed ourselves.

Positive: The front desk gentleman was kind, easy to work with and attentive. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was hot and location was within 10 mins of what we needed. Negative: The exterior was a little lacking but once we were inside all was good. Negative: ""

Hotel has peeling and drab exterior. Hotel Room was humid and filthy. Hair from previous guests all over bathtub and bathroom floor, urine and hair caked onto hinge of toilet seat, and it did not look like anything had been wiped down or vacuumed. Picked up mattress to look underneath for bed bugs and saw red colored streaks and stains commiserate with blood. Stains on carpet and more hair everywhere. Surrounding hotels looked to be just as run down as this one. Would not recommend staying here. Check in was easy and staff was nice and understanding, the only plus.
