Baymont by Wyndham Franklin/Cool Springs - Hotel in Franklin - 4206 Franklin Commons Ct, USA

This is an affordable hotel that has what one would expect out of any standard place to stay. The rooms aren’t very spacious but aren’t too cramped, either. The beds are fine. The bathrooms are like the rooms – not too spacious but not cramped, either. Like I wrote before, it is relatively inexpensive for a hotel. The staff here was very polite and the location is decent – it’s not terribly far from downtown Nashville. There were a few oddities here – there was no hand soap; instead, a bottle of shampoo was kept for that. I’m not quite sure why. Additionally, although the AC worked, its cover was unstable and wouldn’t stay on. The structure of this hotel implies that it used to be a motel and was converted not too long ago. The breakfast here is very, very good – they have a good variety (the waffle machine worked, which I can’t say for every place I stayed in). Overall, I feel that this hotel would get 7 out of 10 stars and a 5-star rating system doesn’t quite capture everything. If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay, the Baymont will cover your needs. But, if you’re looking for luxury as opposed to affordability, there are other options.

We were on the bottom floor at the end of the building so it was very quiet. Our room had brand new carpet in it! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The Dove soaps are a plus as well. Check in was easy and unfortunately we left before breakfast was offered. The pool could be maintained better. It had a lot of leaves and bugs in it.

The hotel seems to be recently remodeled. The beds are great and the room looked nice. However, there are some details that were not done very well. There are some cleaning issues. There was some sort of streak on the bathroom door. The caulk on the shower did not look professionally done. There was a drywall taping issue on the ceiling. Overall, it was a comfortable room.

0 STARS!!! This hotel deserves O stars!!! Booked not seeing the reviews about bugs, got there at 10 pm, the lobby was over sprayed with room scent to mask the smell of the facility. But we were tired and I checked in. Went to the room, same weird smell, went in the bathroom, as soon as I turned the light on and looked in the tub, cockroaches running around!! On the way out a baby cockroach on the tv stand!!! I proceeded to go back to the lobby to tell the man there that I will not be staying there and told him why, he nervously chuckled s as if he knew it's an issue but told me he couldn't refund me because I booked through Expedia and I need to call them and he needs to approve. Understood, called Expedia, hotel was called and the man refused to approve the refund stating that he offered me another room!!!!! I then proceeded with a message to the man at the hotel and basically told him to make a choice: a) approve the refund, b) I notify a local health department and he can have the place shut down, I also told all of this to the Expedia rep. Only then my refund was approved!!! Honestly, this place needs to be shut down, it is not in any condition for anyone to stay there!!! Stay away! | booked another hotel that night 20 min away and was satisfied with that one. Horrifying experience!!!

Had an excellent price and I was pleasantly surprised. Rooms smelled good and were clean. Beds were very comfortable and my room was incredibly quiet....and we were beside the pool!! Free breakfast is ok, about what you'd expect. Everyone that worked there was super nice though. I'd come back.

My brother, sister and I stayed at this hotel from June 1 through 3, 2024. This Baymont is run by very friendly staff, and the complimentary breakfast was very nice. The downside, though, is that the room was in very meager condition. The housing on the air conditioner was damaged when we came in. In addition, we were given multiple bottles of shampoo, but no soap. It is a decent place to stay if on a budget. It's not very far from Nashville, so if you're planning to spend time in Nashville and don't want to stay in the heart of the bustling city, the neighborhood will suit you.

When we checked in we were placed in a second floor room. After searching for the elevator, we realized there wasn't one so we had to haul our coolers and all our suitcases up the stairs (this was just an overnight stay on our way south). We didn't want to leave our stuff in our vehicle overnight because there were some sketchy looking people hanging out and smoking in the parking lot. When we got to the room I was kneeling on the carpet to find something and my knees and found that my knees were wet. We realized the carpet was wet because there was so much ice buildup in the freezer part of the fridge that is was slowly melting out onto the carpet. Someone had left the fridge door slightly ajar. I think the melt had been going on for a while because the wetness was widespread and the room really smelled. We were moved to a different room with dry carpet but still had an odor, something had been ripped off the wall (a lighting fixture?) and no soap. On the plus side it was inexpensive compared to other places in the area but I don't think the price saving compensated for our displeasure.

This will sound dramatic, but I'm saying it anyway... from 5 star hotels in New York to New Orleans, I honestly don't think l've ever slept in a more comfortable bed... and where on earth they found the pillows is beyond me... undoubtedly the most comfortable "engulf you in comfort" bed and pillows ever....||||Our room was clean with microwave and refrigerator. We felt safe coming and going throughout our weekend.||Bathroom is small but satisfactory.||Dove shampoo/conditioner/body wash containers are anchored to the shower wall. Dove soap and lotion are at sink outside toilet/shower room. ||||"Window unit" type air conditioner kept our room chilly.||||I had breakfast one morning complete with scrambled eggs, sausage and peach yogurt. A waffle maker is available along with cereals and muffins/toast. If you're looking for heavier breakfast or more options, Cracker Barrel is literally steps away.||||There is a small pool that looked clean and welcoming even tho we didn't have time to take advantage of it.||||This is not a "luxury hotel" and the rooms do open to the outside which is the only downside) but if you are looking for a very comfortable bed in a room that's clean and a breakfast that will fill you up before you head out for the day all at a price that is affordable, give them a try.||||At this Inn, the fact that they are keeping the rooms affordable but not sacrificing the quality of your stay is what sets them apart.||||This is lodging done right... and I would not hesitate to stay again!
