Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money. This place was a dump and if I could give negative stars I would. First off this is not a 3 star hotel. The pictures are deceiving. The front entrance gives off abandoned building vibes. There was homeless people walking around and when we asked the owner if the area was safe he stated he had no issues but from there looks of it I don’t believe that was a true statement . By the time I arrived at the hotel I was too tired from a long drive to find another place to stay so we bit the bullet. Once we entered the room the smell of mildew hit me like a ton of bricks. It was so bad, my husband went to the CVS next door to get air freshener. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable which is the only reason I gave this place 1 star. Take my advise and just ride past this place.

The guy at the front desk was nice, and the tv was actually pretty decent. (I just wish I had rubber gloves to use the remote) sadly that’s the best I can say about this place. As soon as my girlfriend and I got the room key, we struggled to get it to work, had to try like 20 times to get it to scan. When we got into the room we felt the need to check for bedbugs. Thankfully there wasn’t but I’ve seen other reviews that people have seen them here. The shower curtain rod was broke and wouldn’t stay up, the shower and the doorway was riddled with black mold, the vent was falling out of the ceiling, there was paint chipping from the ceiling, the office chair was rusted, stains on the room phone somehow, the mini fridge was missing shelves, rusted, dirty, and it stank. The room smelled very musty. The bed was equivalent to a slab of concrete with some leaves on top. We went to Walmart to get new pillows and a blanket to lay on top of the bed because everything felt so gross. The pictures that advertise this place are extremely deceiving, they look like a decent cheap hotel (as expected) but they look like the kind of place where adult films are made, and crack rock is sold. For this place to be non refundable is an absolute scam. We went 10 minutes away and found a much better and much cheaper hotel where we were actually able to rest. Don’t trust the few good reviews this place has.

i hate this hotel, it was the worst one i have EVER been here. first, we had to move to 4 DIFFERENT rooms, because one shower was broken, the lights didn’t work, cockroaches in the BED, and the toilet broke. SECOND, the neighbors would be drunk, and smoking cigarettes. third, the ppl at the front desk charged me and my family over $200 for nothing!! and we didn’t get our money back. fourth, the air was so hot that is made the floor WET!!! the wi-fi was okay, and the ppl at the desk were nice. but i would NEVER EVER come back, and wouldn’t recommend this.

The front desk clerk assured us that it was better to pay the deposit in cash as we would get it back immediately upon check out. Then when we left the night attendant only gave us half of the deposit back because “the sheets needed to be washed” after our stay for 3 nights. Obviously they should be washed. I have never not received a full deposit back from a hotel. It’s extortion plain and simple. Will never stay here again.

Bathroom was terrible, blood on the wall and toilet. Price was good for the location. Mine was a quick trip, 2 nights, it was adequate. Breakfast was decent. I would not reccommend this place for more then 1-2 nights max!!!

After traveling all day, we arrived at nearly midnight. We checked in and were asked to provide a deposit of $50 to cover any damage that might be done to the room. We were told we would get that back after checking out. Upon entering the room we were hit with a moldy mildew smell. There was a cockroach crawling on the dresser that quickly hid. We were unable to locate him again. The bed was musty smelling. The leg of the bed was broken and twisted. The side chair was dirty and had stains on it. The luggage stool was messy and stained. The bathroom sink faucet was not installed properly and wobbled. I have a video of that. The bathroom was dirty. The shelf in the shower was broken and sitting on the tub. The carpet had not been vacuumed recently as there were leaves and dirt on the floor. There was a dent in the wall that is the shape of someone's head. It was not repaired well. My son was supposed to stay in the room next to us. The bed in his room had mold growing on the mattress. There were also bed bugs on the mattress. The room smelled the same as ours - musty and stale. Neither of these rooms was acceptable. I have pictures of these “deficiencies.” I could not stay in the room. It would have been a health risk. I would not have felt safe or clean. We went down to the front desk and told them about the situation. We were asked if we wanted different rooms. I don't think these were isolated incidents. I believe any room in this location would have a similar lack of cleanliness. We requested that our deposits be refunded. We were told this could take 3 to 5 days. I did not stay at the Baymont at all. I was there for about 10 minutes. The length of time it took to check in, inspect my room, inspect my son’s room, and request the deposit be refunded. I was given the manager’s business card so I could contact him later. We promptly left. We ended up going down the road 3 miles and found a clean, comfortable and safe hotel for less money. I sent several emails to the manager throughout the next few weeks. I was told that because this was booked through AARP, I needed to contact them. I have been in contact on multiple occasions with AARP Travel Center (powered by Expedia). Each time they tell me they need to get approval through the hotel's location for a refund. Yet each time they try to reach out to the location, the manager isn’t available. The last time they told me he was out-of-country for 5 days. After calling back (5 days later), I was told that AARP would need to send an email to someone else to get approval for a refund. I requested that they CC me on the email. At one point, they offered a refund for 2 days. Housekeeping claims I stayed there 1 night. I told them I did not. They can check the records of the deposit return. I also have a receipt from the hotel we did stay at - showing my arrival time. I felt that they were trying to buy me off. I’ve since contacted my credit card company. I would avoid this hotel at all costs. I do not recommend this hotel. I’ll update this review as the need arises.

The room is actually moist. The carpet was wet and the air was wet- the sheets were damp. I've never ever experienced anything so awful. I've been sick with sinus and respiratory issues since I left.

The nastiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Mold on the bed, broken outlets, dirty chairs. The room stunk of mildew. The room hadnt been vacuumed in what looks like weeks. Save your money and go else where. They refused any money back also.

Great subs and anti pasta. A little strange on the pricing practices as you don’t actually know what the prices are until after your order is prepared which is a first for me. But that being said prices seemed fair and food was good.
