Baymont by Wyndham Fayetteville - Hotel in Fayetteville - 735 S Shiloh Dr, USA

Room was clean, shower was newer with nice large pump bottles of Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast was good in general. Environment was quiet. The pool was enjoyable. The place was near everywhere we wanted to visit. Very nice stay overall.

DONT STAY HERE!!!!!! Pls!!!! spent 100$ basically to stay 1 night. They REQUIRE 100$ deposit as well. Beware!! Of no refunds. Check out you room and hotel before cause they will give NO refund under any condition or let you edit your stay. Let’s start off with the whole hotel and my room as well had a horrible moldy, musty smell. You could clearly see water damage in ceilings (so must be mold which is harmful). It was SO bad and unsettling it messed with my breathing (I have asthma) the breakfast was very limited.. I got breakfast right at 6am they had 3 yogurts, eggs were watery and flavorless. They say “smoke free hotel” but there were huge and multiple burn marks in both bed comforters in my room… bed was comfortable and they offered dove products but other then that this is NOT worth 100$ a night to stay. The manager or owner was very nosy. He stood at the end door looking out at my mother’s car while she’s trying to get her luggage out. Sat there and watched her for about 3 mins.. very weird. Also same thing the following morning had my bmw on to cool down with ac.. stood at the front desk and waiting to check out while I watched the worker staring at my car looking outside. Overall the hotel IS a 2 star if not 1 star hotel

Positive: Rate and breakfast Negative: Room had tobacco odor.? although the whole place was supposed to be smoke free. So much so I notified the desk so I would not be charged their smoking penalties.

I booked this room through Priceline and prepaid. We arrived and were told about the 100 deposit which did not show on the reservation page. The reservation was non refundable and I was told if I didn’t pay the extra hundred I was out what I had prepaid. Instead of a hold they charged my card so I paid more for a deposit than what the room even cost. They charged my card on Wednesday and we checked out the following day. I will not receive my deposit back until next week which is ridiculous. They also charge for internet after you use so many minutes. Our keycard also did not work and the front desk clerk was incredibly rude. They advertise check in is at 4:00 and it’s actually at 3:00. You have to sign in to eat breakfast. I will never book at this place again. This is the first time I’ve documented leaving a hotel with pictures because the management made me so uncomfortable. Definitely not a trustworthy place

Day 13 of 30 day motorcycle trip. Worst shower ever, don't think you could fill a teaspoon if you held it in the shower. Room was clean but nothing special. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Lady at front desk during checkout was very nice and said she'd get maintenance to fix shower and apologized. Wouldn't stay here again. Also, the fridge didn't work.

I loved this stay! The hotel was clean, friendly staff, and quiet. We will definitely stay here again if given the need.

Kim at the front desk is AMAZING - very congenial and on task. Night desk clerk is useless. Wouldn't let us check in because we used Wyndham points for the reservation and not a credit card. We had a 3 night reservation!!!!! Had to call in the night manager so we could check in. The facility is NOT clean - carpeting at wall/floor joints hasn't been vacuumed in months! Sheets are thin and windows don't open - not even an inch. Breakfast is mediocre. We swore two years ago we wouldn't stay here again when visiting family. That decision is now cemented in my brain. Wyndham should be able to do better. We do NOT recommend this establishment.

Decent value for the money. The rooms are nice, but the air conditioner is programmed, so it's basically unadjustable. Hence, the 3 star for the room, as the night was very uncomfortable. The "free" breakfast actually wasn't bad. they had eggs, sausage, toast, pancakes, oatmeal, juice, coffee, and tee. I enjoyed it. As far as location goes, it's right off the main highway, with the downtown uni area a short drive up the road, plenty of bar and restaurant selection there. You also have a Walmart and a liquor store nearby. I'd call this a good passing through hotel.
