Baymont by Wyndham Farmington - Hotel in Farmington - 1901 E Broadway Ave, USA

There are cockroaches in the hotel. The fan in my bathroom did not work. There was a naked man walking down the hallway last night about 1 o’clock in the morning, and almost bumped into me. The police were not called. He was simply escorted back to his room and I was informed he is drunk so it is OK. There were also people sitting right outside the front door, smoking marijuana. My elderly and disabled mother told the front desk and she was told there was nothing they could do about it. I contacted Booking.com, they said that they had to call back this morning at 7 AM. An email was sent to the property also. This morning I went to the owner at the front desk and informed him that Booking.com had sent him an email. He said he had not received any email , although he was standing there looking at his email. He told me to contact them again, so I did while I was standing there. He refused to even work with Booking.com, so they hung up on him. I spoke with him and he told me a bottle of spray had been offered to me for the cockroaches in my room, and there was nothing they could do about the man he was drunk and it was OK. He told me, I could sue the man LOL. I was traumatized this drunk man almost bumped into me penis and all. I did not get to sleep until after 1:30 in the morning. My elderly mother was up most of the night. We had to leave all the lights on to be able to keep cockroaches away. I might also include this hotel their prices because of the eclipse to almost 4 times The normal rate. Booking.com asked them to transfer me to another room and they were informed there were no other rooms available. They were fully booked and all other hotels within an hour were booked. Booking.com has told me if this hotel does not respond within 24 hours since it has been escalated to a complaint, then they will work with me. DO NOT Get a room here. If there are cockroaches in one room, the hotel is crawling with them do not risk taking cockroaches back to your house. I cannot believe the Missouri Department of corrections hold their training at this hotel.

Positive: Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Quiet and well maintained. Negative: The staff ran out of coffee both mornings we were at the hotel. We had to request for the attendant to make coffee both days.

Clean and comfortable, front desk(Walter?) very helpful. Someone left their dog locked up in their van with windows up(Aaron’s Escort Service ?) and the young lady with the blonde hair immediately took care of notifying the owner that it wasn’t acceptable . She was very friendly and personable.

We booked a room for five people with Booking. There should be 2 double sized beds and a sleeping couch. When we arrived they told us, that there is no sleeping couch and we have to book another room. So we had to pay 182 USD extra for that room. They said we have to contact Booking, so we did, but Booking was not able to refund the extra costs. We have to contact the hotel. So we did, but Baymont is ignoring us. Never ever Baymont again. There are better hotels with fair politics!

Positive: They had a decent breakfast that was free. The room was comfortable and quiet. The HVAC unit worked well and was not noisy or smelly. Negative: The bathroom faucet did not put out much water. When I first arrived, the mini-refridgerator did not work, so I had to change rooms. I brought some salads with me and they had to be refrigerated. The bathroom door was patched. Negative: ""

Very clean and quiet. Plenty of parking. Felt secure and safe. Rooms a bit smaller, but ok for an overnight stay. Beds were clean, comfy, with lots of pillows and appropriate amount of covers. Sufficient items for complimentary breakfast. Coffee was good w flavored creamer available. Would stay again

What a great experience! My family have stayed here multiple times and the front desk agent Walter has been there a while now, always willing to help and polite to everybody, even when I’ve witnessed other guests treat him poorly. This most recent stay, I noticed they updated the vanity in our restroom as well as a beautiful paint job on the exterior. You can tell the managers here do their best to keep the place nice!

Just got home after a 2 night stay at this place. The first night they had some rap group staying there as they had some concert to do in town. The concert ran long so they came back to the hotel at some point having some kind of after party of sorts that ended in fights and the police showing up about 3AM. All this equaled no rest. We had business in town and decided to leave after the last nights debacle and asked about checking out early. We had missed the 11 am check out so they told us no. We decided to stay the second night as they assured us the troublesome people had checked out and it would be a quite evening. What they failed to tell us is they put a group right across the hall from us who decided to party all night. In total frustration we checked out at 1 am and hit the road home 750 miles away with little or no sleep. We tried multiple times to arrange a total refund which was completely justified in this situation but had a very difficult time getting a manager as he rarely comes in to the hotel. According to his staff, they don's issue refunds. After multiple calls, his onsite staff offered a one night refund but due to the horrible stay I did not feel this was enough. If you want a place that you can have a party - this is the place, whole place smelled like weed so I guess its ok to party hard here but don't expect a peaceful stay.
