There isn’t one bad thing I can say about the Baymont. Check in was very good. The room was extremely clean and quiet. Air conditioning worked very well. Bed was very comfy and the bathroom was by far better than many I’ve been in. The shower actually worked and the shower curtain was clean…unlike some places. Property was clean and well maintained. |There isn’t a coffee maker in the room which wasn’t a big deal. They have coffee in the lobby. They don’t offer breakfast and that’s the only thing I wish they had….no big deal because there are a couple of fast food places near by. And the ice machine worked!! I’ve already booked it for our return trip home.
Baymont Elko was a solid 2 star hotel stay. There were a few amenities and everything appeared clean and well maintained. It is on a hill so you get no road noise. There are 2 sets of windows that help with noise reduction. We could hear our neighbor through the walls in the morning, he was loud. We liked having a kitchen so we could do breakfast in our room. (I'm not a morning person) The staff was friendly and helped us choose a dinner restaurant. Some things in the room looked a bit worn, but functioned fine.
Everything was great except for 1 thing.
Their handyman Rodger Tremayne took one of the residents Title from out of their vehicle. (From the 1999 Nissan Quest)
Promised to return it, never did, and got the vehicle towed.
That's a felony.
Wouldn't leave any important documents unattended.
We got in late, for us, got showered, settled in for the night and the bed was used, I felt this grainy, like crumbs, stuff in the bed and my husband, a retired MD said, its skin. So grossed out. I doubt the bathroom had been cleaned either. There was mold in the tiles. I should have made them come change the sheets but I was exhausted so I slept on top of the tops sheet. Told the front desk when leaving. No offer for a refund, Also, on the second floor entrance, the tiles were very torn up and dangerous. I remember a big sting operation on 60 minutes years ago and many hotels have this policy, to save by not cleaning.
Positive: "" Negative: Waited 20 minutes for help at the front desk. Finally, someone arrived and got me checked in. Got all my luggage to my room and could hear that it was already occupied. Went back to desk and again waited 20 min to get room changed. Poor customer service.
We needed to stop in Sacramento on our cross-country roadtrip with a moving truck. On-premises security directed us to park in one particular area of the parking lot, stating they "would watch the vehicle overnight". I asked front desk about this security when I checked in (since they were not in uniform and thus unidentifiable), and they confirmed that they were security and to obey their parking directions.||||In the morning, we found that the truck was broken into and it was (unsuccessfully) hotwired for a vehicular theft attempt. We immediately went to management, who told us our vehicle was (in)conveniently in a security camera blindspot, and thus no camera footage would be available to review. Keep in mind that WE WERE DIRECTED TO PARK IN THIS SPOT by on-prem security. Additionally when I filed a police report, I was asked to provide the contact information of the security guards that night, but management refused to provide the contact information or assist in the investigation in any manner.||||What's the point of having on-prem security and video cameras if you can't prevent a juvenile attemp at stealing a moving truck? I would strongly reconsider ever staying at this hotel if you care about our vehicle and possessions, as clearly it's free pickings for thieves with such indolent security. Awful experience and piss-poor management that couldn't take responsibility for such a preventable issue, will never come back to this location or any Wyndham hotel in the future.
No coffee maker in the room. Coffee available in lobby only. You can get lost in this motel if you are on the fourth floor.
First time I stayed here and it is very well run amd roomy. The beds are new and firm. Front desk I was greeted by Kathy and she is so personable and kind. Anything I needed, she was ready to make sure I had to make my stay great. I will definitely be staying here for my travels.
If you are looking for a cheap hotel with a kitchenette in your room this is the place. They offer no coffee, no breakfast and no housekeeping. I spent a week here and they never gave towels or emptied garbage. If you want clean towels you have to br
My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Holiday Inn Express. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful - starting at check-in and all the way through our stay. Breakfast was excellent and Isaiah was especially fun to interact with. We will d

Very clean rooms. Everyone was super helpful. I love that they have microwaves and fridges. Very convenient but above everything else the staff was spectacular. Above and beyond in kindness.
I got a room here all in with tax for under $70. For this price point, this is INDEED a 5 start motel! Booked on the central Choice website as we were getting close to town. Check in was easy and the front desk manager was SUPER nice. We chatted a bi

I could make an argument that this is the best gym in America. The Veterans discount alone made me feel at home. The people, the equipment, the accessibility, the locker rooms, everything is top tier. However, the fact that all of the women are marri
On a solo road trip. Sat at the bar and ate the salmon salad. It was absolutely delicious and also huge. The salmon and asparagus were warm/hot and cooked just right. The avocado was plentiful and perfectly ripe. There were loads of greens, and they
I had the best meal in Elko during my week stay at Machi's Saloon on a lamb shanks night. Great atmosphere, and a local hangout. Was recommended by a friend who used to come here 20yrs ago and is a friend of owner John Lemich who serves at the bar.
