Definitely will return, came for my 55th bday and the hotel was perfect for us. Went to see the field of dreams. ||The 2 ladies at check-in made us feel very welcome. Not at all like we didn't belong.||Housekeeping was also very sweet. ||The people who work at the hotel are what a really base ny review on. ||We will return||Location was PERFECT ||Thank you for being exactly what I expected someone living in Iowa would be like
So the location is great. Beds are comfortable. Staff is super friendly. It is very affordable. However, breakfast is subpar, there is mold and mildew in the carpet and shower, AC is a window unit, bar was not open or looked like it was functional, cable has no HBO, phone had no cord, and it was humid in the building Wyndham needs to update this place desperately. If you have asthma the mold will trigger an attack. However it is affordable.
Hotel room wasn't bad other than a few chunks of carpet missing and the air conditioner not keeping up. The hallways were dark, creaky floors, and also had chunks of carpet missing. Needs updates for sure. Breakfast was what I expected, ready each morning, but nothing too fancy. Staff was nice and cheery.
No pool. We have to go to another hotel to use a pool. No restaurant and bar, as it was closed.|Breakfast was low in protein. The king size bed and twin beds was a very OK room. The TV was OK. The air conditioning was OK and it was fairly clean. The main concern was the bathroom. See the pictures below.
Don’t stay here unless you’re desperate! Very outdated gross carpeting, bathtub had mold there was some attempt to cover it up with grout! My ankles were all bit up!! Fleas??? I couldn’t see anything but kept getting bit!! Don’t add this place to your trip! Big mistake on our part!!! And breakfast was so bad hubby wouldn’t eat it! We just packed and left! Hopefully didn’t bring any bugs with us!!
94 degree day and received a king room that I booked only to find the ancient AC unit didn't work whatsoever. Refused the room and was put in a dual queen with working AC after the front desk attendant acted like I was getting upgraded... I stay in wyndam hotels constantly for work and this room is absolutely attrotioous. Carpet is stained everywhere (sticky tar like stains), bathroom is falling apart, water pressure is a horrible, beds are ancient and the smell is disgusting. Good news is the hotel comes with a sauna and pool...if you want to roll the dice with that. Wyndam needs to take a hard look at this area, as no hotels meet even the barest standards
This is the worst hotel my husband and I have ever stayed in. The staff is rude. The rooms are small and dirty. The whole hallway by our room stunk like urine. The hallway was poorly lit and the ice machine was broken. The pool was small and dirty. The bathroom had half empty complimentary bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The sink in the bathroom had a faucet that touched the back of the sink so you can't wash your hands properly. The fridge was banged up and didn't stay cold. The microwave was from the 70's. There was no clock in the room. The breakfast was two bananas and a dirty waffle machine. The list goes on and on and it's all bad.
The overall appearance of the hotel was dated and somewhat run down. The room was basic but clean and perfectly servicable. The rate was exceptional and a good value.
Our experience was amazing, they were all so accommodating. We had a mishap in our room and a wine bottle broke. They donât have bell boys and the person to help clean it was the receptionist at the front desk. She offered to clean it for us which
I had been eyeing Ignite every time I drove by for quite some time. Iâm glad I finally signed up for a class!
When I arrived for the class both the instructor and the studio owner were there. Both were friendly, welcoming, and seemed excited to hav
Been trying to get here for years, and was finally able to make-it when they're open. LOTS of options (from sandwiches, to meats, to prepared meals), all seemed very reasonably priced.
It's not a big place, but they pack a lot into the small space (
