We stayed room was nice. Room needs updates and maintenance. The bed was very comfy. And I forgot my insulin in the room fridge, and they kept it safe until we got back to pick it up. They went above and beyond. Thank you all.
The service was excellent! The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful! The room however wasn't the best, it smelled like musty or mold and was very damp. We weren't that impressed with the room at all. But for the price it served it's purpose! We did sleep/park the night before our flight and when I booked it I had no idea we had to go to a separate location to park our car, with our flight being early in the a.m and traveling with children this was a little chaotic. But it all worked out great because the lady at the front really went out of her way to help us figure this all out.
The rooms were clean and well maintained despite being an older building. The location was near the airport along over a dozen other businesses. However, the staff led optimal service to be something to be desired. I will list off my grievances as such.
- Not every hotelier was courteous
- Slow to respond to customer concerns and requests. Examples are as follows:
- Brief power failures in hotel room resulting in temporary loss of internet and TV amenities for half an hour. All other functions were restored promptly, however.
- Only the in-house washer ever worked as intended. The dryer was completely unresponsive with an error code. Staff claimed the dryer was reset. However, by the next day, the dryer was still plugged in and was completely off with no error code showing.
- Requested room maintenance to take out trash at day one but never arrived. We ended up taking care of our own trash, leaving it bagged near the front door upon checkout.
Would not recommend. The girl in reception was very nice when we got checked in to our room last week. We went upstairs to see the room before we unpacked the car. Rooms are very outdated, cigarette burns on the tub, towel racks and shower curtain holder was falling out of the wall. You could also see where previous drill holes were patched up from past times the towel rack was fixed. We had 2 adults and 3 kids and we only had 2 towels. When we asked for more, we were told "i'll see what I can do.". We did get 2 more towels. We had ants in the room. Water constantly went from hot to cold the entire shower. Granted, the room was only $70/night and you get what you pay for. Breakfast wasn't anything great. We will not be back.
Was not what I expected!
It seemed much nicer on the advertising.
It seems smoking was allowed at some point, or not sure, but the smell lingers ( for the sensible nose )
Shuttle service instructions were confusing. We waited more than 30 minutes after 13 hours of traveling.
I could be ok with all of it, but arriving into the room, there was a leak in the bathtub that triger feelings of frustration on my tired mind.
To make it all worse... the room was extremely hot. Is the 29th of August and no windows open. The air conditioner was unplugged, and the carpent under it was soaking wet. Ran downstairs wishing for a colder room. Unfortunately they are all the same. We hope it works, lol. Seems it will.
A bit sad for the front desk lady. She was great at check-in. ( Sorry you got a bit of my rampage 😊 )
.
Oh well, we only paid $130 US ... and breakfast is included
Lesson of the day ...
You get what u pay for 🫣
Will be great for 12 hours :)
Oh!!! Air Conditioner does work... yeahyyyy 🥳
Clean & friendly. Had a hot breakfast.
The hallways & elevator felt warm for summertime. But the room had good AC. Would definitely revisit. Got a good price on priceline. They picked the hotel out of three nice ones in this Detroit area. Pet friendly w/ fee or free service animal.
I recently stayed at the Baymont by Wyndham Detroit Airport the night before my flight. Upon arrival, the front desk lady was polite despite the late hour. Check-in was quick, and we went to our room. Unfortunately, it had a very strong cigarette smell, which was disappointing given how tired we were from our long drive. The next morning, we noticed the other rooms smelled better, indicating our room was an exception.
We informed the front desk, and while she apologized and mentioned they would use deodorizers, it didn't help us since we were already checking out. Additionally, there was a hold on our card, and when we called to inquire, the woman on the phone was very rude and made us feel belittled.
The complimentary breakfast was quite good, offering a decent variety for guests. Overall, despite the acceptable breakfast, I was unhappy with the room's cleanliness and customer service, so I likely won't return.
Positive: It is closer to the airport and provides breakfast. Negative: The hotel provided only one bath towel for three people. The next day, they didn't clean the room and also did not provide any towels. I requested the front desk lady for a clean towel, but she didn't help.

If you have a flight out of DTW I highly recommend this hotel. We have stayed here 1/2 dozen times the last few years and have never been disappointed. The facility is clean and well maintained. Most recently we had a very early flight and weren't ab
A great location with plenty of amenities, including a full service restaurant with some of the best chicken and pancakes I've had! Besides the air conditioner being a little busted, and the low water pressure of the shower, the room was great. The b
Embassy Suites is one of my favorite places to stay no matter where they are. This one was nice. The free breakfast is always good with made to order omelets and pancakes. You can get scrambled eggs already made and thereâs usually a good choice o
We got 2 rooms for our party. Both rooms were clean and up to date. Front desk guy when we checked in was super sweet and the other staff we encountered were all friendly, "Hi, how are you? Have a good day." The breakfast was the typical carby stuf
Floors were filthy inside. Mud tracked in, carpets on second floor needed vacuuming. Elevators had not been cleaned in sometime. Ceiling in room was peeling near door. Space heater ran off and on, carpets were stained inside our room and worn.

I love smokers alley. I live it the neighborhood so I come often. The store is always spotless and smells nice. They have a big selection of things idk what most of it is. I just like the candles and snacks. When I do smoke I get my white owls here.
I want to thank Romulus Flowers & Gifts SOO much! They helped us with a prank for a lost bet on my brother Mitch. He was dressed in an embarrassing Donald Duck costume and had to stop by and pick up 'daisies' from Romulus Flowers. Michelle the owne

This 5 star review is based on the customer service I received from the salesperson Baneen. I originally came to the store to ask shipping questions but she was so knowledgeable about T-mobile network, deals and their items that I ended up purchasing
