Baymont by Wyndham Crestview - Hotel in Crestview - 4040 S Ferdon Blvd, USA

The hotel was nice. The ice machine did not work. You had to get ice at the office. The complimentary breakfast was good, and you had a bit of a selection. The entrance was not paved yet. It was a gravel drive, but it was not bad. There were a few shady characters that hung out outside, but overall, it was a good experience. The staff was good to give us extra towels. The front office was very accommodating.

Clean well kept rooms, the employees were courteous and accommodating. Definitely well worth the price. I would recommend this place to my family and friends, and will definitely be back. Plus it's about 25miles from Destin Beach. Helpful and thoughtful people.

I don't normally write reviews after my stay at a hotel (and we stay at many), but I feel this one is necessary. Last year we avoided this hotel based on reviews we read. This year, because of having to cancel earlier reservations, we had to make a reservation here at Baymont. While we drove here, we read more recent reviews. Immediately I tried to find another hotel, not caring I would have to pay a cancellation fee. Nothing else was open for our dates. So we agreed to look at the room prior to paying for it. They gave us our key to look...we found A CLEAN ROOM, NO BUGS,NO LEAKY TOILETS, NO HOLES IN WALLS, NO DEAD ROACHES ON LAMPSHADES, NO PLUGS HANGING OUT OF WALLS AND CERTAINLY NO NASTY PEOPLE AT THE FRONT DESK.The other complaints we read was pot smoking and being scared to leave rooms after dark. NO POT SMELLS ANYTIME WE LEFT ROOM, NEVER ANYTHING AROUND TO FEAR AT NIGHT, ACTUALLY VERY QUIET AND PEACEFUL HERE. We have been here a week now and not one bug, not even an ant. Friendly staff day and night. Beautiful outdoor pool that we spent a lot of time in, day and night. To those of you that left bogus bad reviews Simply to get your money back because you spent over your budget, thank you, it left open rooms for the rest of us to prove you wrong. This is by far the nicest hotel we have stayed in while vacationing in crestview Florida. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!! Thank you Baymont staff for a wonderful week.

This hotel saved us on the 4th of July after a hotel I had booked for months demanded double the room rate upon arrival. The owner here had one room left and discounted it for us. He was so kind and understanding. Hotel was very clean and comfortable and we got a decent night's sleep.

We were here two years ago and it was great. This time, it was disgusting. We're not terribly picky travellers, but we do have minimum standards expectations of a large-name chain like Wyndham. We asked for our money back and Wyndham only will give us 6000 Wyndham points, worth $20 in gift cards to places we don't shop at. So, obviously Wyndham doesn't care.||The marquee says' newly renovated. Does this sound renovated to you?:|The toilet was leaking at the base, so there was a puddle on the floor. They gave us a towel to put around the toilet, that was their solution. The ice maker was broken, the coffeemaker was not stocked with anything, not even cups. The room stank like dirty feet, not musty, but literally high-schooler's athletic wear; I had to wonder if the room had even been cleaned at that point. We had to ask for an air-spray and leave the door open to tolerate the odor, so it was freezing cold in our room (cool rainy spring day in Florida). There was mold around the toilet from the constant water, dirt smears on the walls, peeling paint on the exterior, mismatched paint on the door (like they couldn't even paint the whole door, just splotches). There were blood stains on my son's bed sheets. The front staff was completely apathetic to the problems. |We had photo evidence of all this, and still Wyndham thinks 6k POINTS is adequate compensation.|There are lots of hotels in Crestview to choose from, avoid this one at all costs.

This place obviously needs alot of work, don't expect anything great from the owner he doesn't give a flip. We were checked into room 109 with a Jacuzzi, only two in the entire hotel. The room was soaked, dirty, sheets torn and full of dog hair and bed buds, the room absolutely stuck of mildew and wet dog.

Hot ghetto mess! The pool has been out of order since at least June. No door knob on the bathroom door, missing outlet covers. The water wouldn't drain out of the sink. The staff was very pleasant though.

Worst hotel stay ever. Room was DIRTY, the sheets had a blood stain on them. Even when we asked for clean sheets they were still stained with something and dirty. There was hair in the bathtub, and there were a ton of roaches and the WiFi was unsecured. It was disgusting, it discouraged my family and I from ever staying at a Wyndham hotel. Luckily we were only there about 2 nights if the trip was longer we’d probably check out early and go somewhere else.
