Baymont by Wyndham Colorado Springs - Hotel in Colorado Springs - 1055 Kelly Johnson Blvd, USA

Rooms can be a little stank and one of our rooms had a hand painted safe, but all in all, I love the Baymont. They provided a wonderful 3 night stay for us and every night was worth every penny. It’s not gonna be a Marriott by any means but it’s about 20x better than any Motel 6 I’ve stayed in. I will forever remember my time at the Baymont ❤️

The room was non smoking but smelled like cigarettes. I notified staff so we didn't get charged for something we didn't do and all they could say was "yeah we know". The pool wasn't available for use as it was down for repairs but that wasn't stated anywhere before or after booking, they only had a sign at the front desk once you checked in.

Room smelled like a lifetime of cigarettes. Lock was missing. Shower was broken. Sheets were stained. Pillows were squares. Carpet was so gross I kept my socks on and threw them away. People hitting the floors and walls in the other rooms. Don’t stay here even if it’s your last option. Sleep in your car. I left first thing in the morning as there were zero other hotels available in the area.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke. The lampshade was badly damaged. There was a hole in the carpet. There was no coffee pot in the room. No hangers in the closet. At Breakfast the eggs were lukewarm. The sausage was overcooked. The pool was closed. The men's bathroom in the main hallway, the door to the toilet stall was missing. The toilet was dirty. The drinking fountain looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. There was a dead fly in the drinking fountain.

Positive: Nothing. They ran out of room keys. We didn?t have a key to our room! Pretty sure that is illegal. The deadbolt was also broken on the door. So so unsafe!!! Negative: Pool wasn?t open, no complimentary breakfast, no room keys, the room next to us had no door. Horrible hotel!!

Worst hotel we have honestly stayed at ever! I mean we have been in some bad ones and some really nice ones but this dump takes the cake! No fire alarm in the room just wires hanging from ceiling. My wife went to take a shower when we checked in and there were 6 pubes in the shower… lovely! The bed sucks, pillows are like sleeping on a rock. They claim they are under remodel but that is a lie. Pool and hot tub are empty and full of leaves and dirty brown water! Kid at front desk was ok but totally clueless and when I say kid he was maybe 21, which is fine but no customer service skills whatsoever! When I went to complain he gave me this blank look and asked what I would like him to do since they were at full capacity! I looked at him, laughed and Said “I came here expecting nothing and feel like that is all I got”. For $200 per night which is suprising for what a dump it is, it is on the cheaper spectrum of the hotels in Colorado Springs. Trust me and do yourself a favor and pay more for a nicer hotel… you will be so much happier you did. We went to salt grass for dinner down the road after we checked in and a local fella at the bar asked where we were staying and we told him and he laughed and said it was a crack hotel and make sure to lock our door at night! Absolutely insane! Again, the hotel honestly should be condemmed and do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! You can thank me later! I will be calling the colorado springs fire department to have them do an inspection of this property. Guaranteed it will fail!!! Oh Yea I almost forgot, the phone in the room does not work so when there is a fire, you wont be awoken because you dont have a smoke alarm in your room, and you cant call the fire department either! Place is a death trap!

room is very adequate, could use a fresh touch, but the breakfast is worth it in the morning, very close to I25 and you can have a mountain view!! working on pool and hottub, these were not available during my stay

My boyfriend and I came in after a long day and found that the room we were given was filthy, never cleaned, and had peoples things in it. This made me extremely uncomfortable, if it happened to us I can only imagine someone getting a key to our occupied room while we were sleeping. Doesn’t seem very safe. Went downstairs to get a new room only to be given a key that did not work for that room. Went back downstairs again and finally got a working key. Only to find that the room smelled awful, like a mix of weed, trash, and body odor. The curtains did not close so we had to tape them to the wall so people could not see in. At that point we were just exhausted and tired of running up and down the stairs so we took the room. For $90 I expect much better
