Stayed 4 nights for work. Farm country, so smells that go with it. Area is a large truck stop , so a constant rumble of big rig noises. Room was newly remodeled and was great, bed amazing.
I cant say anything about the room as I did not stay. The place is under new management per the sign out front. It doesn't look like the pictures and it looks unsafe. I called the day before to notify them my flight would be in after 11pm so I would be late coming in as I had ro drive hr. from Fresno airport, the lady said ok. When I arrived at 2am they had given my room away. Which in my opinion was okay because I wasn't going to stay there because it looked unsafe. I had to drive an additional 30mins to Lemoore as all the other hotels around them that looked better were all booked up. I didn't end up in another room safely untill 4am.
For anyone confused like I was, this hotel used to be Travelodge, but is now a Baymont by Wyndham, although it still says Travelodge on the building (as of May 8, 2024). They still have the sign up about ongoing renovations. We had a renovated non-smoking king bed room (133) for a night to rest our heads and shower to break up the long drive up I-5. The entrance was tucked between two semis, since this is apparently a popular stop for truckers to break up the monotonous drive also, but there was plentiful parking in the lot.
Chef’s kiss on the renovated rooms. Clean stain-free linens, towels, clean room, comfy bed, sufficient outlets AND working USB ports for charging phones and other devices. Clean bathroom and big walk in shower that has a bench seat and ledge for your toiletries or for us women to have a place to prop our feet for shaving legs. Hot water with good pressure. The room also has a mini fridge and microwave.
The only downfalls worthy of mentioning is the sink doesn’t have a lot of counter space, which wasn’t any inconvenience for us but might make a difference to someone with a ton of toiletry items. The room has little walking space around the king bed, but for an overnight stop wasn’t a big deal for us. The biggest noteworthy downfall is noise- there wasn’t much overnight noise that disrupted our sleep but in the morning we noticed the sound of guests passing our room to leave was quite clear in our room. Again, this wasn’t a big deal since we also needed to get back on the road.
Well worth the price for a quick overnight stop along I-5.
It was in a nice quiet area. The rooms were nice, you can tell they are remodeling it.
The staff member who was working when we checked in was amazing, very professional, and kind. The morning staff member was just as kind. The one thing I would complain about was the painters that were painting the outside of the building had their music up so loud. However, that was not the hotel fault.
Positive: My specific room had just been remodeled as an efficiency. If it hadn't I would've been severely disappointed. The name misled me so I thought it was an upscale place. It turned out to be an OLD worn out motel. Plenty Negative: Plenty. Negative: ""
Under construction but not a bad place while passing through. But seriously what’s with all the cats running around
Very good service and definitely you can tell its family oriented. The food sealed the deal for me. I forsure will be stopping by going to or coming from whenever im traveling out that way. All the food is made to order and that chipotle sauce is am
