Baymont by Wyndham Cartersville - Hotel in Cartersville - 11 Kent Dr NW, USA

This is a two star hotel for a reason. Rude employees and the lady on staff at the front desk was an absolute see you next Tuesday. We paid for our room and the pet fee. Our dog smells like a dog. They said it was so bad they had to take the room out of commission but the air conditioner was smelling FUNKY on top of our dog. “The owners not happy” THEN MAYBE THE OWNER SHOULD NOT ALLOW DOGS??? Scammed us out of our deposit and dramatic as all get out. You should come here if you like being treated poorly and want a room where the tv doesn’t even work right. STAFF AND ROOMS ARE HORRIBLE. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. Nothing good about this place. Even breakfast sucked.

Wish I could say it was better. There was no batteries in the smoke detector. Plus the room smelled like pot. I found garbage on the floor of my room which was disgusting. Then I went for breakfast in the morning and it was terrible. They set out waffles that are supposed to be frozen and by the time I wanted one, A fly had landed on it and they felt like rubber. The mini fridge that they usually stock with yogurt and milk was complete Empty and they had biscuits but no gravy. Probably won’t ever be coming here again. The Looks are defiantly deceiving.

Positive: This hotel was a very poor choice. I am a Wyndham rewards member. This place was dirty, room carpet was dirty, bathroom area was dusty just disgusting for the room rate of $--- per night. Negative: Very dirty and it advertised a hot breakfast, It was only offered a continental with pre-packaged high sugar items. We chose to eat at a restaurant off property.

My husband made reservations on Mothers day weekend for the Rock the country event. When the reservations were made we reserved 2 queen size beds (it's even on the confirmation) well when we get there and checked in the beds were not queen but full size instead. We told the lady at the desk that the beds were full size not queen, she argued with us that it was queen. Even the manager said it was a queen but again it's not its a full size. Not only are they the wrong size but uncomfortable and the rooms are not satisfactory will not be staying here again.

I enjoyed the location and quiet; however, there was soapscum covering the shower head. The seating in the room had not been cleaned to the point that I could see the dirt on the sitting and desk chair.

My first room the bathroom was dirty the entire bathroom. I was given another room this bathroom was clean but the nob came off the tub several times! Stuff was coming out the ceiling and the room had dust everywhere. There were dirty socks left in the room and the remote didn’t work even with new batteries I bought myself. This was an awful experience!

I've never been to a place that smelled so strongly of Curry. Absolutely ridiculous. It smells like the lowest class you could possibly expect from a hotel in a hotel that you wouldn't expect to experience this.. totally disgusting. Unless you love the smell of Curry don't stay here.

I will never book here again. One site says pool etc. I booked for my 10 yr old sleepover due to it having a pool with 75 degree weather and once paid for. I was told the pool is closed off. On the other site they have which is not the site I booked on said its seasonal which should be on all of the sites. I didn't need the room to sleep I got it specifically for the pool. And no I did not get my money back or even part of it
