Baymont by Wyndham Brooklyn Center - Hotel in Brooklyn Center - 2050 Freeway Blvd, USA

Stayed 3 nights. Booked the Suite, we were very impressed on the cleanliness of the room. The large mirror and back splash to the whirlpool are very hard to clean and ours was perfect. Whirlpool worked great. Thank you. Very happy with the money I spent for 3 nights.

Had an absolute worst of the worst experiences. We should be asking for a refund. I am not sure if it's a just this specific hotel or overall management of Baymont by Wyndham - that's their problem to figure out. But here is our experience: 1. Room had no Wi-Fi connection, possibly because of a tucked away location. If you got a room 421, ask to be moved or better yet - run, there are 4 hotels within 50m 2. Our room was not cleaned or had next to nothing cleaning time allocated for it: - we had no towels (read on, it gets better) - toilet seat had urine stains on it - night stand was sticky and with food crumbs - other surfaces had greasy fingerprints - if you didn't find the above as a "worst experience" worthy, there was a cherry on top waiting for us once we got to the beds - the beds were missing fitted sheets. At the sight of the way the beds were made, we questioned if the sheets were even changed. It was so disgusting, it is really hard to describe. The hotel did not have any other rooms ( I question that!!! ) and it was late. As it was so late and we were staying just overnight to sleep, literally had to ask for cleaning supplies and a set of towels and a set of sheets - at least then I knew the sheets were changed. We ran out of that hotel as early and as fast as we could first thing in the morning. Not posting pictures - whatever your imagination created, it was worse.

In the end it was fine. Room was clean, comfy and quiet. Pool was colder than we expected but actually lovely once we got used to it! Unexpectedly good coffee. Breakfast was...basic but there and the lady running the pantry was absolutely lovely. The halls desperately needed vacuuming. Our issue came when we arrived very late with tired cranky kids, having been driving for 15 hours. We just wanted to get checked in and sleep. The guy on the front desk gave us a room on the 3rd floor, and we opened it to find a store room full of broken furniture... We went all the way back down and it took him another half hour to find us a room with actual beds in it, but which time we were all frustrated and exhausted. That was the only real issue we had though, otherwise it was friendly and reasonably priced.

Wow, this place is one of if not the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The first room they gave us was not cleaned at all. Wet towels on the ground , hair in the tub, trash by the sink and blankets on the floor. I went and told the front desk about it. They gave us another room, this one was slightly better. We have to go to the desk again to get blankets and towels because there were none in the room. We paid Xtra for a Jacuzzi suite. I didn't even want to stand next to this tub it was so gross it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Went and talked to the front desk person a third time and he told me. There was nothing he could do because we booked it on A third party site and that I would have to contact them. So then throughout the night I discovered that none of the ice machines worked yet they still had ice buckets in the rooms, the toilet seat was broken off completely, the microwave was disgusting, and there were people going up and down the hallway all night long being loud and disrespectful to other guests. Needless to say I would give this place 0 out of 10. If I could go negative I would say -4 out of 10. This hotel is garbage, straight garbage. Try to avoid it if possible, don't let the name of the hotel fool you .

Remote in my room was taped together and only one button worked. If you advertise you have a hot-tub and you don't, people should be getting a discount because that was one of the reasons i booked this location. If you require a $100 deposit then it shouldn't be a surprise when you arrive. Breakfast: bare minimum, no juice, turkey bacon. The staff's indifference borders on rudeness. The room was clean and blankets and towels were a nice quality.

The first room we got smelled moldy, 2nd room had garbage on the floor next to the bed also someone’s dirty clothes were left by the entertainment center. The deal breaker for me was the pool was not clean and poor breakfast, they only had eggs,bacon and bread

Get your popcorn ready. I checked out of this nasty hotel at 7:15 am. I asked for my $100 cash deposit back & the male clerk told me I would have to talk to the manager and she wasn’t at work yet. I said cool, I’ll be back. I returned at 12:30 pm. A black lady from outside was eating noodles and she told me she was the general manager & how could she help me. I said I came to get my deposit. She said she would assist me. So at the counter, she was trying to get in the safe but couldn’t. So a white lady told her to let her behind the counter & she would help me. The white lady told me ‘she heard about me & was I the early check out.’ I said yes I checked out early. She gave me my deposit back & I said thank you. I walked out to my vehicle and drove across the street to Casey’s to gas up. As I was gassing up, 3 police surrounded my vehicle & stated they received a report and call from the Baymont Inn that I was looking suspicious, making threats, pacing back & forth in the parking lot, retaliation.’ So the police arrested me, searched my vehicle, impounded my vehicle. I stayed in jail for 3 days behind this LIE. Also the police wrote a trespassing order against me stating I was banned from every hotel in Brooklyn Center. Discrimination & Profiling at its best. With that said don’t book this hotel. Rooms are extremely nasty. $100 cash deposit smh.

I want to start by saying the staff at this “hotel” was so nice and helpful and sweet and kind. The hotel, not so much. The room was very outdated, dingy and gross. The pool was down. They didn’t have enough blankets for the beds, so we had to go out and buy our own. Everything in the room was broken, the shower curtain rod was barely hanging on, the toilet paper holder was broken, the TV was broke. Found out from someone else staying there that it is frequented by the homeless and that they tend to leave it in disrepair. The breakfast was sad with cold “eggs” and nasty undercooked, cold turkey bacon. There was bread, so I had a piece of toast. We ended up moving hotels after 1 night.
