Baymont by Wyndham Blackwell I-35 - Featured Reviews (99)
Not sure why their reviews are like they are but this was by far the worst stay I've experienced in a long while. Reserved a king size bed and upon check in told there were none available. Was put in a room with a twin bed after telling us it was a queen. Room was dirty, TV didn't work and the shower floor was wet as if someone had recently taken a shower, and this was around midnight. Tried to use shampoo from a bottle and found it was empty. To beat all that guest in next room snored so loud it could be heard through the walls. Decided to leave after about 45 minutes and was told by front desk they could not do a refund until next morning. Ridiculous!!! Went across street to another hotel Would not recommend Baymont
The rooms were filthy. The first room we checked into smelt like weed and needed to be changed. The rooms had flies and the bathroom had hair all over it. It looked as though it had not been cleaned. The bedding and towels were stained. We were out of options and it was late so we stayed. We woke up extra early to get out of there.
Lady checking us in was so nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and nice. Would stay again. Great Mexican food restaurant next door.
Leah was very rude upon check in and check out. She reeked like cigarettes, she was upset because I bothered her smoke break to check me in! Over heard her and the other lady talking about very badly about some guests who had just checked in! I'm sure she doesn't get paid to sit around and smoke, and talk ill of other hotel guests. She walks around barefoot. I will never be back! I'm in Blackwell at least 2-4 times a month. Rooms were not cleaned properly, hair on counters and in bath tub. 😑. Towels smelt like cigarettes, and had stains.
We travel alot since retirement and this was one of the most clean and helpful places we have stayed in on a long time. Front desk lady was so helpful and kind. Loved the room
Positive: Close to the freeway! Negative: The desk personal;they weren't smart enough to read the original booking for 2 rooms (for $-- each) not 2 beds! I had to purchase an additional rooms (for $--) so that my cousin and I had our own rooms. They also both smoked just out the front door Negative: ""
I am a wifi engineer, and performed a wifi survey of the property June 2024 after eating next door at the Mexican restaurant. Baymont has excellent wifi. Expect to be able to stream video in any room of the hotel. Photos show wifi power levels are great in all guest rooms on 5 GHz band on Wifi 5 802.11ac. The only coverage gaps on the first floor is at the swimming pool area at the far upper left. On the second floor, the managers apartment has a coverage gap, but that is not a guest room problem.
Another wonderful and excellent stay at Baymont by Wyndham in Blackwell. Leah and her staff are amazing. Everyone is so courteous and friendly. I always have enjoyed my stays at this hotel and will continue to stay there in the future. Thank you to everyone who makes this such a pleasant stay after long days on the road
This is a great place to stay. Itâa a newer Sleep Inn, the beds are super comfy, itâs clean and the staff is awesome. The lady at the desk greeted me with a warm smile and had a positive âcan doâ attitude. She was professional and accommoda
Clean spacious room, comfortable bed, great front desk service and the best shower ever! You might think it's weird to comment so highly on the shower lol, but it was literally the best shower I have ever had. My husband even said he just wanted to s
