Absolutely an amazing experience I have stayed here at Bayhill for close to 2 months and have been enthralled by the experience I have had here! Amazing staff, amazing housekeeping. Property is in the midst of upgrades and will be an absolutely stunning 3 star hotel in my opinion. Electric chargers in all parking spots. I highly recommend this hotel for its rate to quality ratio, this is a great stay for anyone long term or short. Rooms are very clean and modern! WiFi available and plenty within walking distance!
I really wanted to like this place, but it was a continuous disappointment. I would not stay here again or recommend anyone do so. PROS: 1. No bed bugs. That's important. 2. Good shower pressure 3. House keeping is super friendly and helpful 4. Great location - close to the mall, airport, and lots of restaurants 5. Price. This is the main reason we stayed here. It's low for a reason. CONS: 1. TERRIBLE linens, towels, and especially pillows. We ended up buying some pillows and towels from Target. It was that bad. We also needed 2 blankets because they are so thin and useless. It seems like they found the absolute cheapest version of each thing - tiny, scratchy towels that don't dry you off, pillows that are basically an empty sack with a couple cotton balls, you get the idea. 2. The "soap". I don't know where to start on this. Instead of providing bars of soap and little shampoo bottles, this place has 2 soap dispensers like you'd see at a public bathroom: one by the sink and one in the shower. It's labeled as for "body and hair shampoo". The stuff makes no sense and doesn't work well for either purpose. Very strange. 3. Super old analogue microwave 4. No coffee machine 5. The rooms are TINY. Like slightly bigger than a walk-in closet. It's super claustrophobic - it's basically the bed and bathroom with no breathing room. The bathroom sink is a tiny vanity with no room for stuff. 6. The ice machine is outside with no cover, so when it's raining you will get very wet. 7. No food/snacks/hygiene stuff/etc. on premises. There is a soda can vending machine that was empty for our entire stay. 8. The doors are horrible. You wouldn't normally think about doors, but ours was a big problem. It had no seal, so light, smoke, and cold air were constantly seeping in. Our door also didn't close properly. If you wanted the door to stay closed, you have to either slam it or pull on it with your full body weight. It was very easy to forget and have it swing open in the middle of the night. We were very worried about leaving for the day and having the door not stay closed. All in all, the Bayhill Inn was a place to sleep out of the cold and rain, so it served that purpose. It definitely was not a fun stay and made a difficult trip a lot worse. If you are desperate for somewhere to stay and can't afford anywhere else, it's probably the cheapest place with no bed bugs.
My family and I had a delayed flight which lead us staying in San Francisco. I called multiple hotels which were either full or the front desk person hung up in my face. I called here and they accommodated us ☺️ The front desk person was really nice. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We really appreciated our stay here.
Must stay hotel if you’re in the area. Bayhill Inn accommodates all your needs and some! The beds are very big and comfortable, rooms are always clean, modern furnishing. Location is prime, close to the Tanfrans Mall, restaurants, convenience shops. Everything you may possibly need within a 1miles span.
The Bayhill Inn room was old but good. Comfortable bed. Nice large Phillips TV. Rooms are kept very clean. Their free wifi was fast even when all rooms had guests. Surprisingly quiet at night. About 15 minute walk to the San Bruno BART. Neighborhood felt safe.
The staff let me check in early and they help with my luggage because my flight is late in the day. Room was clean, excellent location. Very recommended.
I stayed here the night before my flight out of SFO for $119/night, and it was solid. My room and bed were clean and comfortable, and I have zero complaints. But here’s a warning: BRING EARPLUGS. If you don’t, you won’t be able to sleep. Also bring water if you don’t want to drink out of the faucet, but the tap water was fine.||And for those of us without cars, yes, the area is a bit sketchy and my 6AM walk in the dark to the San Bruno BART station (FYI BART fare from San Bruno to SFO is $9, and from Millbrae to SFO is $5.20) was a bit unsettling, but there’s lots of traffic along El Camino Real so it’s not terrible. If I had a choice I’d stay near Millbrae BART, but if you’re going to be in San Bruno, go ahead and pick Bayhill Inn.
Nice, clean inn located in a prime area. Owner is super nice and friendly. Would recommend staying here!
I loved this spot. Wasnât super familiar with the area and couldnât tell from Google Street View etc if it was a seedy area or not. I would say itâs right on the edge but that didnât affect my stay whatsoever. The hotel is a tad dated but ha
Iâd give this place more than 5 stars if I could. I realized 4 star hotels with not even a microwave is such a rip off. Everything at this place is so perfect. Clean room, comfortable beds, nice staff, everything is just absolutely great. Breakfast
Arrived by car 30 minutes before closing. We had a parking spot right in front of the taco truck on the street. I found this place searching Google seafood restaurants near me! It was to my surprise that it was a taco truck! No worries, we ordered th
First time for my wife and I finding this Restaurant and I must say it is very good luck for us! We will return when we can often. Their Mediterranean cuisine is well presented and extremely delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed their Beef/Lamb Kabob (Koft
Our final meal in California and my cousin sister suggested Taqueria Mi Durango. So glad we tried this place. Each regular taco costs about $4 to 5. The Al Pastor and Fried Fish tacos are phenomenal and must order. Super highly recommended.
