This is a great place to bring the kids. There is a public restroom that is clean and a place that is like a plateria where you can get mangonadas, aqua frescas, smoothies, ice cream, etc. There is also a great view of the ocean and lots of shade
The bayfront is very nice, you get to see the USS Lexington as well as all the big methane ships passing under the bridge. I enjoyed the little observation tower that is part of the boardwalk.
Beautifully maintained waterfront park. We visited Corpus Christi on a day trip from Houston specifically to try out the Zagster bike share program and this is one place in town where the bike stands were plentiful. It was January but there were still quite a few people out. Some on bikes but many more on cool looking motorized scooters. Both are available for rent and the riding area is very good including the really clean bathrooms. There's even a spot where you can get air for your tires or need a tool to adjust something on your bike.
It's a pretty place in Corpus Christi you can see the Lexington and the texas state aquarium from here! When it's foggy out it looks cool
