Bay Landing Hotel - Hotel in Burlingame - 1550 Old Bayshore Hwy, USA

This is a solid, traditional American hotel. There was a great view from our room of the planes taking off and landing at SFO. We enjoyed walking on the waterside pathway in both directions. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. I loved being able to make my own fresh little waffles for breakfast, as well as the wide choice of other things at breakfast. There’s an airport shuttle bus which is handy (so long as you can find where to wait and have a bit of patience for it to arrive). This hotel doesn’t do meals apart from breakfast but there are several restaurants nearby (though they seem to mainly do main meals which is not necessarily what you want to eat after a long flight and with jet lag!).

This is a good choice if staying by SFO. Reasonable value. Old style decor but OK, very quiet (I was not on the bay side) and comfortable room, except soft mattress was sagging badly. Better than typical free breakfast included. Friendly service at evening check in. Good shuttle service every 45 minutes to/from airport. The area outside the hotel is great for a morning walk by the Bayshore.

oh MAN. cannot say enough good things about this place. The proximity to the airport and gas stations ( for rental return) was a bonus. The staff were SO nice and the housekeeping staff were very helpful as well. The room was astonishingly clean and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. Shower was delicious as well. The room was an unbelievable corner room with a view of the water and an excellent view of planes taking off and coming in ( after I stayed outside for an hour or so watching as well! )AND a view of my vehicle! Parking is vast, with good lighting. There is a nice waterside walkway too. AND a very cool patio/porch out back, water side which is ready made for plane watching ( and people watching! )I was out early so I did not do breakfast but the coffee maker in the room was BRILLIANT! Also loved that little frig & microwave for my leftovers! SO VERY glad I decided to stay here. And if I am EVER flying out of SFO again, this will be my first choice. Thank you everyone for an amazing stay!

A remarkable stay. We stayed twice and both times were treated to exceptional customer service. Close to the airport, so there is the sound of planes, but comfortable, easy to get to and from the airport, and a really great breakfast buffet selection. Had a pleasant stay here in late October. Liked having the SFO airport close by that I can take the hotel shuttle to and from. I had a King sized bedroom and it was a clean and comfortable space. For my trip I just needed a quiet and safe space to rest for a couple of nights so it met those expectations. Appreciated the complimentary breakfast that had a good selection of foods and drinks (Enjoyed the cheese omelets!) Would stay here again if given the option 👍

we had a wonderful stay at the bay landing hotel!! great location and quick access to the airport with a convenient hotel shuttle. very nice & accommodating staff as well. the rooms were very clean and updated, stocked with everything you need. additionally, the view from our room was beautiful with a quick walk to Starbucks along the water. the breakfast was great and they had a nice patio outside. thank you bay landing for a relaxing stay!!💞💞

There are oodles of hotels near San Francisco airport, including many large chains with mediocre reviews. We were delighted with our choice of the Bay Landing Hotel, based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. ||This hotel pulls WAY above it's 3-star rating. We felt welcomed at registration and were delighted with our spacious and comfortable room. The hotel was immaculate. Our room was in excellent repair but for a shower curtain that was noticeably frayed and ready for replacement; the shower gel dispenser was also empty. The AC controls were easy to adjust, and the WiFi worked well. Our room was silent. Sleep quality was excellent.||The breakfast buffet also exceeded expectations. Hot foods included pre-made omelets, bacon and waffles. There were several cereal, yogurt and pastry choices. There is a fitness center that appeared well-equipped. The hotel shuttle only runs every 45 minutes--and only during the morning and late afternoon/evening--but that met our needs.||The ambiance of the hotel is not luxurious--and maybe the decor is a bit dated--but the comfort and service were excellent. Were I to need a hotel near SFO in the future, the Bay Landing Hotel would be at the top of my list.
