Visited Bay Flats Resort with some friends for a Duck Hinting trip. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The staff was exceptionally friendly and tended to all our needs. The food was always delicious, and the lodge/rooms were beautiful. I had a great time and highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a good time on their trip.

Excellent service all round, and one heck of a fishing experience every time. The lodge itself is laid out well. The rooms are very comfortable and are kept super clean. All the lodge staff are as nice and can be too. You'll get light appetizers in the covered pavilion while you wait for dinner. Dinner itself was steak, potatoes and asparagus. Fishing itself in the bay was awesome the next morning. Our guide Garrett was on point and we all limited out. Easy going guy that knew how to put us on the fish. Tackle is all provided, you just show up and reel them in.

Just finished my first trip with bay flats lodge. Between the well kept rooms and fantastic staff providing an outstanding dining experience I had to give 5 stars. With that being said when it comes to duck hunting I will have to be brutally honest. This lodge would be a great experience for novice and leisure duck hunters. I’m an extremely experienced duck hunter and immediately saw the missing small details. The lack of scouting and less than ideal hides made me feel completely helpless at times. If you’re looking to grind and make a trip going for bucket list birds I would have my doubts. Overall it was a positive experience but left feeling unfulfilled.

We try to go finishing through the lodge every year and have a blast. The service, hospitality, and food are amazing. All the boat captains really know their way around the water and never leave with an empty cooler after fishing!

We always have a great time here, ...always. Food is ridiculous and the friendly staff make you feel at home. We just stayed there last night and fished this morning with Captain Bryan. Had an absolute blast! Bring your clients here, bring your family here or escape for a weekend with your loved one. This place is awesome.

My wife and I, and another couple stayed a weekend at the Bay Flats Lodge Resort. The lodge was clean and the personnel were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, appetizers were great, and the drinks were nice. We came primarily for the fishing and this did not disappoint. We caught Speckled Trout and Drum until we got tired of catching! We kept a few fish to take home and released the majority of our catch. The fishing guide appreciated our efforts at maintaining the fishery. Overall a nice trip that I would recommend. My wife and I plan to return at some point in the future.

What a great time creating memories. The food, the staff, and the fishing were all exceptional. Very relaxing time well deserved, and thanks to Midway for allowing us to attend this retreat. Special thanks to vendor Dan Phillips of Platinum Fire Protection, who helped support this trip.

Incredible experience. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. We only stayed two nights and I teared up having to tell Ms. Little and Patsy goodbye. The staff at Bay Flats are entirely lovely. Then there's the food. My gosh the food. Each meal was better than the last. But the real treat, if you're up for the challenge, is the fly fishing offered here. It's an incredible fishery and Bay Flats has world class fly fishing guides that will do their absolute best to ensure you get a chance to catch fish with a fly. With a little bit of skill, you should get plenty of chances. Another cool thing about Bay Flats is their commitment to conservation. Bay Flats strives to be plastic free but not in a pretentious, roll-your-eyes kinda way. They go out of their way to make being plastic-free achievable and realistic. If you're looking for an incredible lodge and or fly fishing experience, Bay Flats is a MUST!
