Bay Drive Motel - Indoor lodging in Pleasantville - 8010 Black Horse Pike, USA

Oh how I wish I could warn every person about to book a stay here.. it was absolutely horrendous. My husband and I walk in to water all over the bathroom floor, the carpet had mold on it, the mattress was brown like it hadn't been replaced in 20 years, the room smelled terrible and felt damp. Just overall dirty and nasty. How they can actually charge people for this is unreal. We walked right back out and got our money back. When we spoke to the front desk about the issues she just said okay, sorry. We left and ended up driving over a hour to Philly to stay at a holiday Inn since all the other hotels in Atlantic city were so expensive. People say, "you get what you pay for" but I disagree that was just totally unacceptable. I don't understand how they're even still open and running.

Not clean, and the owner was very unfriendly. They tried to change the price on me when I got there, even though I made a reservation and guaranteed it with my credit card. Showers were small, and water leaked out while my kids showered. They charge a 3% surcharge to use a credit/ debit card. They tried to force me to use Debit, when I refused they were more annoyed. I guess you get what you pay for. Live and learn.

This was a disgusting dirty nasty experience!! This motel should pay you to stay there, the conditions were unlivable! The bathroom was worse than any public restroom you have or will ever use! The owners attitudes are just as bad as their rooms! After being in the room for about 30 min and the toilet breaking I was done!! After a very stressful language barrier conversation I had to pay 1/2 cash to get 1/2 a refund back on my card. I wouldn't pay for my worst enemy to stay there!!

PLEAAASE IM ABSOLUTELY BEGGING YOU.. DO NOT STAY HERE EVEN AS A LAST RESORT. SLEEP IN YOUR CAR!!! The amount of bed bugs literally made me sick and when I notified them about my room rather than extend an apology , he rolled his eyes asking to see the room. Then told us to get our stuff out quickly if we want a refund . I left this place at 220am and Took a Taxi home to north Jersey it was that bad . I have pictures and videos that would make you gag. Only people that can stay here are individuals literally with no where to lay or someone without standards . I would rather sleep in my car it was that bad .

The owners were horrible with the customer service almost 2 the point we thought they were racist. There were bedbugs, when it rained the room was flooded & every time we stepped out 2 go somewhere they looked at us like they didn't even want us there! We spent $500 2 go thru that! & also we had 2 wash our own sheets & towels! They suck don't ever go there!!! I'm serious!!!!!!!

The room was dirty , mold in the fridge , tv falling off the wall, they have bed bugs and the customer service is horrible . Never go here ! They tried to charge me $400 for a tv that was never mounted on the wall. You will be ripped off and leave wit bug bites and a bad attitude. The owner is not understanding and civil. Avoid this place . I will never ever return after such a horrible experience .

Good place to sleep. That's why we use it .. for sleeping .. great to rent & we are very close to the Board Walk ..in expensive. Great Price 👍

This motel needs updated bedding, from box springs to mattresses. And more secured doors since every room is at street level. The staff is friendly and helpful.
