Bay City Motor Inn - Motel in Bellingham - 116 N Samish Way, USA

The stay and accomodations at the Bay Motor Inn were excellent. The room was fresh and clean. The staff is accessible and friendly. We felt super comfortable. The assortment of food provided in the lobby was plenty and the coffee was fresh and hot! I would definitely stay there again. We felt safe! Thank you Bay City Motor Inn.

I made a reservation through the hotel's website for a stay from August 28 to September 1, 2024, on July 1, 2024. Upon presenting my reservation confirmation at the front desk, the staff member appeared confused for several minutes before informing me that there was no record of my booking. Even after I presented the confirmation letter once more, he persisted in claiming that my reservation was untraceable and that no rooms were available for the requested dates. By this point, it was dark, I was unfamiliar with the area, and I was extremely frustrated after spending an hour searching for another hotel with available rooms for the weekend. Upon returning home, I received an email requesting a review of my stay, which I found utterly absurd.

Very good service & friendly staff. Rooms clean, etc., but furniture & bathroom facilities a bit outdated. But, overall it's fine. Breakfast area is small, but easy to take food to the room. A decent quick continental breakfast.

My partner and I had a very pleasant experience here! The front desk receptionist(s) were so kind. They went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome. Our room was clean, did not have any smell, and most importantly, I think our bed was the comfiest bed I’ve ever laid in lol. We really enjoyed our stay here and loved how quiet it was. We will definitely be coming back!

Housekeeping was basically non existent, customer service was poor as well. When asked if I can have housekeeping come to my room, that I paid for, I was met with a gross attitude from both the housekeeping and front desk staff. Also, don’t belt these other fake 5 star reviews. They have their employees make them to drown out the REAL reviews. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else that takes pride in their cleanliness and customer service.

Nice motel. Clean, friendly and helpful. Everything is walking distance. Laundry and exercise room and they have a wonderful breakfast. Very safe and affordable. I would highly recommend this motel.

I would definitely stay here again! I just needed a bed and bathroom and for it to be clean. I got that! No weird smells either! (That is often an issue at cheap hotels I have stayed at before.) This place was clean and the bed was comfortable. I felt safe. The free breakfast was nice too! My only complaints would be that the carpet was very stained (I didn't want to go barefoot), and the shower ran out of hot water after just a few minutes into my morning shower. But, it was still worth the price - you know the saying, you get what you pay for. I thought it was a clean room for a great rate and in an excellent location. The customer service was nice as well. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for a night on our way up to Canada.| It was the perfect stop. Cheap, clean and breakfast was great. I've seen reviews that breakfast isn't great but making your own waffles, yogurts, fruit, toasts, juice, pastries, cereals and hot drinks was more than enough choice! | Would definitely stay again
