Bay Breeze Motel - Motel in Seaside Heights - 230 Sumner Ave, USA

My daughter and I had a great stay at this very clean and quant motel. Its proximity to the boardwalk and all local tourist places was excellent. Most importantly the service was outstanding and the owner of the motel has become a dear friend after just one night experience staying in the hotel. I am definitely coming back and staying at this motel to visit with the owner. He goes by the name Happy. Happy and the Bay Breeze Motel definitely will not disappoint you. Instead it will leave memories that you will surely cherish. Thank you Happy !

We stayed 3 nights during 4th of July week 2024. Very accomodating staff. The room was one of, if not THE cleanest that I've stayed in at Seaside. And, this was my 8th motel. Small room but I care more about cleanliness. Pool area clean. Great location.

Comfortable, cozy and well equipped. We had everything we needed in our bedroom: towels, toiletries, microwave, fridge and aircon. We arrived without a reservation and were able to check in and get a great night's rest. The receptionist was really nice too.

Great location and very quiet! Room was freshly updated with all new furniture and the Mattress's was also new and very comfortable. My granddaughter loved the pool ! Only negative thing was the refrigerator was not that cold , good for water bottles and soda. We will definitely stay here again!

Let me start by saying that the man at the front desk who runs this establishment is extremely rude & disrespectful! I originally called on Friday to reserve 2 rooms. I arrive with my family and he says that I only reserved for one room and that he did not have another room. We canceled the reservation and was told that our card would not be charged as we only reserved. We noticed the next day that our car was then charged the full amount of $500 the next day. We called back to the hotel to be told that we were charged because we didn’t listen and did not take the one room. We explained that we did not even stay there. The man at the desk continued to over talk us, state that what he did was illegal but justified, and that we were not getting any money back. We were unable to speak with any managers or anyone from corporate about this. PLEASE stay somewhere else if you can becuae a business who doesn’t care about their customer service is a business who doesn’t care about their customers either. I’m very upset & disappointed by how we were spoken to and how this situation was handled.

Cute little motel and nice short walk to the beach. My boyfriend and I came down from Albany, NY for a vacation and the room was very clean and smelled very nice. Didn’t get much channels on the tv but the bed was super cozy and comfortable and help me sleep really fast. Only downside was lack of room service and housekeeping didn’t come one day. Probably come and stay again sometime in the future

The Bay Breeze Motel is absolutely getting a five-star rating from my family and I! First, let me start off by saying that the customer service was TOP NOTCH! Within MINUTES of booking, he emailed me personally to not only thank me for booking, but, he was able to COMPLETELY accommodate my requests! It was our daughter's FIRST time down in Seaside, or at the shore in general, and it was a PERFECT experience for her! Second, the room was absolutely COZY! Most motels you visit down the shore can be pretty scummy and dirty, but, our room was great! (Top corner room #24 or maybe it was 224? Lol) It was perfect because it was not only on the 2nd floor, which we prefer, but we had the whole balcony section to ourselves with TONS of privacy and security! It also have us a perfect view of the pool (which we unfortunately didn't get to utilize due to the time frame) but also the parking lot so we could see our car. Third, the price! Considering the distance to the boardwalk/beach, the location AND season, it was decently priced. Priced lower than some of the sleeziER motels there. Last, the manager....he was, by far, the FRIENDLIEST Seaside / shore motel manager I have ever come across! Some can be absolute jerks, but he was super nice and engaged in conversation. My family and I will definitely be going back next summer for more than just an overnight stay. Thanks again, Baybreeze Motel! ♡♡

Positive: It's vicinity to the bay and the ocean. Did not have to move my car during the day. Wad able to walk to both waters, boardwalk and convenience stores Negative: Air conditioning wasn't the best but it served it's purpose at night while we slept. It was very hot and humid. Not a complaint just an observation
