Fabulous place. Our guide Bill was a fantastic. Very knowledgeable and informative. The exhibits are numerous & quite extensive. Everything is original and authentic. Got to hold a civil war rifle and listen to history. The staff is great & we got our money's worth for sure. Their collection of world war 2 weapons and uniforms is amazing. One of the best experiences my family and I had in Gettysburg. They encourage you to take pictures too.
I really enjoyed seeing this museum the, collection of items is huge with unique pieces and so many items to look at it spans revolution through Korea. However I am giving the low rating because the museum is in serious need of upkeep. Many displays are growing mold inside and items seem to be falling apart from mold growth is very sad to see these great items deteriorate. The building also smells of mold which makes me wonder if it is even safe to be in the building. We went on a 98 degree day and I thought it would be nice to go in building and cool off but I think the only air conditioning is one window unit we were still sweating inside. There was only one employee and he was polite but seemed very weird and off putting. I was here as a you g adult and remembered it being much nicer. I hope they can get funds to clean and restore the displays and make it a five star experience again. If you really want to see a lot of unique military items it is worth the seven dollars, but I think your time is spent better elsewhere in Gettysburg and I'd skip this one, while it is a cool collection it feels depressing it seems no one cares about maintaining this museum. Even in the parking lot I know pavement is expensive but it wouldn't be hard or costly for someone to spray all the overgrown weeds. I hope they make improvements soon.
Fantastic private collection, with very friendly service by the owner! Having these pieces of history on display to the public is a treat, and it’s a must see for the area - be sure to look high and low; these are floor to ceiling displays from multiple wars that you’re sure to get lost in (with everything from Custard’s boots down to some comical WWII toilet paper!)
Was here on the weekend and was completely blown away! Stayed across the street and had to come check it out. Owner was incredibly nice and welcoming, and his collection was next level. If you are a military historian or just a war lover, you have to check this place out!! Admission if very affordable too!
While in Gettysburg, PA, make SURE you take the time to stop by and see arguable one of the most AMAZING collections of authentic, “the real deal”
Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam items around!
I was so enraptured by what I saw traveling between the two floor’s worth of items that I neglected to snap pics of things! Yes, it truly is THAT incredible…including Jimmy Stewart’s uniform, Custer’s boots, General MacArthur’s pipes and sunglasses, and this is barely scratching the surface of what you will see!
Very friendly owner is willing to answer questions, discuss history, and is so genuinely appreciative of you stopping by!
Therefore…go see this museum while in Gettysburg! PERIOD!
The owners let you interact with the memories of their mind, conversations that lead you down paths other museums struggle to come close to. Historians bring events to life, they are better than any nationally run musuem because they are honest.
If you are a military history buff this museum is a must see. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is a gem on the inside. I spent hours in there, and I could've been there the entire day if I had more time. This is probably one of the most extensive private military collections in the country. The owner was very friendly, informative, and helpful. I can't wait to visit again when I am back in Gettysburg.
I've taken a few people here because no matter how many times I've been here, I've found it to be the most interesting museum where I can always find new things I didn't see before. It's an absolute must stop visit! Today we even had a volunteer telling us stories and giving us information!!

This was a magnificent monument with a great view of the battlefield. You must walk up the spiral steps and check out the metal work along the way. Once youâre out on the balcony area, the view is spectacular. Highly recommended to spend a few minu
