Baton Rouge West Inn - Motel in Port Allen - 215 N Lobdell Hwy, USA

They advertised a bar ..but then said it been closed for 8 years. They advertised a pool, but said it was closed right now. I asked them for a extra pillow for my son but they said they had no extra. I asked for one of those fold out beds , but they said they didnt have any. We paid for two days, on the first morning we woke up they knocked and asked us if we were checking out. They had no coffee pot, no phone, and no blow dryer in the room. I asked for more towels since we checked in with 4 people and there was only 2 towels but never got them. Everytime we had to flush the toilet we had to pick the back of it up and click it so it would refill. Never again. Oh, but they did have decent hot water in the shower!

Affordable, clean, & comfortable for passing through. Bring your own pillows if staying longer, theirs are old & small so not super comfy. Overall still can make it work. Would stay again

Went in to get a room and paid for it after they told me there was room for my truck and trailer. After driving around the lot 4 times there was no place to park my truck. Also realized all the people partying there and what looked like many of the units being lived in. Never even went in the room. Went in and asked for my money back and they refused. Called the manager several times over the next couple days and could only leave a message. They would never return my calls. I spent 15 mi minutes driving around their parking lot with my young son who was starting to feel uncomfortable about all our stuff in the truck. When I ask for my money back she said there was a 15 min time limit. I told here I spent that trying to park and never went in the room. They didn't care. They ripped me off completely! Awful people. Very unprofessional. And an even worse property. Nothing shy of a cracktel. Shame on management here!!

Positive: Access to I-10. I liked the colorful bedspread. Negative: Too many trucks. Toilet was dirty. No coffee.

Below par for the price not gonna lie. I've had way better rooms for less before. Room reeked of smoke and no amount of perfume or sprays would help and the bedding was high key gross

I stayed here for two weeks last month and was very pleased with my experience of the place. The room was clean and comfortable with a microwave and a fridge. Clean towels were given everyday. Housekeeping was very considerate and only cleaned the room after we had gone into the city for the day. The people looking after the place were very polite and helpful showing us how to get around the city. The surroundings were well kept and clean. All in all a very positive experience. Southern hospitality at its finest.

I stayed here for 2 months of work. The owners are very friendly and family oriented. Room service is not intrusive but helpful. Great shower, comfortable bed. They offer a small laundromat on-site with 3 washers and dryers. This has been my favorite work hotel this year.

Easy to find, VERY affordable, and CLEAN. The place is simple, which is fine by me. I'd rather stay at a place like this that is overall older, has older furniture and such, but the rooms are actually clean. I've stayed at newer hotels that don't maintain their facilities, and charge way more. No bugs, or signs of, nothing nasty in the rooms, all linens were clean,and the bathroom was clean. The rooms are pretty basic, bed, table with chair, night stands, smaller (but sufficient)TV, and a little dresser. All the basics are there. The employees were all friendly, and helpful. They have a vending machine in the lobby with basic snacks, and drinks for reasonable prices should you need a little snack. Of course the pool was empty, and collecting dirt and leaves due to being out of season, but this was not a big deal. If you are just looking for a simple, clean, affordable place to stay, I would recommend this motel.
