Basilica of the Immaculate Conception - Basilica in Waterbury - 74 W Main St, USA

5.22.22 My 1st visit here and Wow-zers. All Catholic Churches are different and given that this is a Basilica it is breathtaking inside. So much intricate detail, it's a must see. The mass and music were beautiful. We went to the 12pm mass and it wasn't that busy but parking was a little tough. No street parking but there's a lot in the back which someone helped direct us to. Overall it was a wonderful experience. God Bless.

Beautiful church! Looks like a church you would see in Italy 🙏❤️‍🔥fyi they are currently installing an elevator (9/2023). If travelling w/disabled or elderly call the church rectory before travel to the church, as the bathrooms are only accessible by staircase. (3 floors)

father sullivan is amazing. he has helped me through some tough times. the church is so beautiful just to visit. mass is always enjoyable. wonderful office staff. i transfered to this church from our portuguese church.

Gorgeous basilica! Reminds me of the one back home in Jalisco. Loved the opportunity for confessions before mass and the prayer of rosary before mass as well.

I went there for a family funeral mass. This is also my home church. I used to teach CCD when my children were young going through the program. You do not pay to list this basicilica.

Simply breathtaking experience walking into this stunning church. It felt like I was transported directly to Rome. I am having surgery in the Waterbury area and was blessed enough to sit in during the Rosary prayers.
