Basement Sports Bar & Grill - Sports bar in Akron - 255 E Waterloo Rd, USA

I placed an online order for pick up at the Waterloo Rd location. I ordered the fish dinner . It was terrible! The worse fish dinner in Akron. It was burnt and dry. I couldn't eat it. My Dad ordered pulled pork sliders, which includes fries. He never got the fries. The place was slow with very few customers. I could've called and complained, but I drove home and decided it wasn't worth dealing with the unfriendly service...I'll just never order food there again.

First time ordering from here and I have nothing but good things to say about this place! I ordered through Door Dash and I was worried the fries and food would be cold and it wasn’t. I got the Chicken Ranch Philly and I love it!!

We had a very large party tonight for my nephews B-day party. I have to say everything was great!!! The food, the drinks, and the service was excellent!! Thank you staff, you did a great job!!!😀

I live out of town! I ordered wings at the recommendation of someone else! They did mot disappoint! Initially when I walked in the two women bartenders didn’t acknowledge me which i thought was odd. From a service perspective you always greet or make eye contact when someone enters your establishment! Any how . .. the guy behind the bar who just happened to be walking up saw me and immediately spoke. He asked if i had a call in order and immediately cashed me out! The wings were fresh and fried perfectly. I’ll have to order again soon

Very good food and a nice selection.

This is what you imagine a typical local bar to be… except so much better. Food is outstanding. Giant salads. The wings are amazing. The cheese steaks on par with the best. Dark bar, fast friendly service. Cheap drinks. I’ve been to five different basements and am always pleased.

Good place for an after work drink and burger. A typical neighborhood sports bar with all the standard food and drinks with lots TVs to watch. I had a burger and fries with a beer tonight. Burger came out nice and hot as did the fries. The best part of this place is the staff. The waitresses and bartenders are amazing. Super friendly, nice, quick with food/drink, and just plain good at their jobs!

I love the food and service here! Kitchen is open so late and the menu has so many options to choose from. I even picked up a bottle of their kaluger sauce for only $5- will be back! And man is that pizza good!
