I did my first class at Barry’s for free with the Corporate Challenge!
I did not have much expectation going into the class, just pictured it as a regular workout class people goto.
However, my perspective changed after completing my first session. Some important aspects to the class I thought was the instructor, the people, and the music.
The instructor tells instruction on what do to for the next workout about every 30 sec. There’s a lot of people, I went to 8:30am class. And the music is played out loud at a decent volume.
All of this coupled together makes the class exciting, interactive, and motivating as you see other people doing the same thing. Everyone is there with the same goal in mind, and NO headphones!
I highly recommend anybody try it out!
Best part hands down is Oribe body lotion they have! Smells amazing!
Absolutely love this studio. I come here through class pass and it’s absolutely great. The facilities are very clean. The instructors are very nice and the class gives you a great burn!
I like to visit the red room now and again when I feel stuck in a workout rut. If you want to increase your VO2 max or stop puffing at the top of the subway stairs, this workout is for you. The coaches magically simultaneously direct a treadmill workout and a floor resistance workout. After about 15 mins, you are invited to swap. It’s run-weights-run-weights or double floor is all weights only. Good thing for all the mirrors: you can check your form and correct yourself. The coach is busy teaching two classes! Their cueing is excellent and I’ve never taken from a bad coach. Participants are self involved and no one is watching each other, a comfortable environment with low lights. I always sweat and feel great after. Amazing showers, smoothie bar, Orbie products in the showers and the best sized towels! Say yes.
Matthew G. was honestly a terrible instructor.
I love Barry’s but he didn’t covey the Barry’s energy and identity at all. Not motivating, low energy, music was off, he wasn’t helping or correcting people. I do not recommend training with him!
I came all the way from New Jersey only for my eye brows because I’m very picky in eyebrows, I try lots of threading place never satisfied.
I don’t mind for commute for my brows
They are very welcoming and good customer service always take a time a for brows.
Highly recommend this place
I have taken a few classes here. The concept is exhilarating. Amber and Joe are great. However, as mentioned by at least one other reviewer, the music is too loud for participants (especially those new to Barry's) to understand the instructions clearly. It is still possible, but I found myself distracted from the workout as I devoted my thoughts to figuring out what was being said. Do try to dial back the treble especially as it is painfully piercing.
Very nice place. Can't afford to go there but it looks like a good spot to go and if you got the money and you can afford it
Great Barry’s in Noho, instructor Bobby G actually pushes you both on tread and floor!
Absolutely love F45 midtown location! The gym is huge and spacious, the equipment in great condition , and the instructors rock. Theyâre always very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to injuries/ substitutions and I feel I get a great workout
Great class. All the coaches organize classes to push you but allow you to workout to your level. The workout space is not overcrowded and the environment makes you forget youâre actually running!
An absolute paradise for any athlete looking for a gym that will push you to be the best you can be. The programming is perfect for all ranges of athletes, the coaches are incredibly supportive, and the community is unbeatable. The equipment is als
Just started going here but I never leave disappointed. This gym is for pros, beginners and everyone in between. Theyâve created a positive and inclusive space where you can be comfortable no matter your background or skill level. Friends told me a
Most challenging class Iâve taken yet! Iâve done lots of HIIT and functional training classes but Coach Justin took it to the next level. He kept my partner and I motivated through a series of unique sets. Will definitely return next time Iâm i
Iâve been to various OT and I just started going to the one on 39th st. It was a great first experience. The instructor was Alex and I appreciate that he made sure everyone had the right form and doing the exercises properly. I also liked the music
CompleteBody on 19th Street is like a home away from home. Lovely staff, friendly members, facilities and an environment you want to be in to train and get results. Thank you for having us.
Great class plenty of seating and classes arenât too full. They do have showers and towels only 2 but again not so busy. Beautiful outdoor space to enjoy after class.
I have been to a good number of gyms including both private and public, school gyms and the ones at apartment complex--basically different gyms every time I move to a new place as we all have. Among all of them, this gym has been my absolute favorite
I have been training at amazing gyms for over 40 years. But Temple West Village stands out because they hit all the marks of a gym you can call home. Starting with the manager, Pat, who sets the bar high for staff and how they treat members. Within t
Eko is the best property manager Iâve ever met. He is very reactive and provide service as soon as possible. My 4 months tour in NYC is indispensable without his help.
One of the best bibimbaps Iâve ever had! Cozy space so there is not a lot of seating, but would get it as take-out if needed. Will definitely go back!
Great, fantastic experience. My girlfriend and I came here for the first time during a trip to NYC and it's so great. The location at night in the winter at night was a bit unfamiliar but it's on a main street and near a subway entrance so that's a t

Tickets were crazy affordable, especially in NYC terms. I went with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. It was wayyy cheaper than going to the movies. They had an amazing line-up and the retro 80s vibes were intimate and chill. Plus the come
Out of all of the Georgian restaurants Iâve been to in Brooklyn and Manhattan, Mealz is the one that exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, not to mention the service was amazing. Overall, the environment was very comforting and friendly
