There are some intense slopes, but not too long. Lots of options either out and back or several variations on loops.
Review for February 1st 2022. Barrel Springs Park & Ride hike Trail is located in Palmdale California. This Hydro also connects to the Tejon Park Trail in equestrian area. It is an awesome spot for hiking, jogging, mountain biking, or simply just walking the trail. There are lots of mountainous areas where you can go off Trail and it's very Scenic and beautiful. The weather today was perfect for a winter day. I came by in the morning and there was lots of people already on their hike. I rode my mountain bike on the trail and so many wonderful spots off Trail. I'm not guilty, to say that I absolutely love the Wilderness and hiking and mountain biking.
A quick drive gets you some pretty views! Nice and easy trail, good for families.
I wish people would not litter, though. Lots of poop bags, water bottle lids, and other trash scattered around.
Stopped by this Park and Ride when I seen from the hwy there were walking trails. It was A beautiful day with the white capped mountains 🏔 in the backgrpund.Enjoyed walking up and down the trails 👣 it is A great workout
Great place to hike with the family, go rock hunting, meteorologists dream area. Lots of trails.
Great place to trail run just watchout for snakes in the summer. Busy with many people hiking Monday thru Friday its lonely on the weekends but a bit creepy the loop is about 2.6 miles so is the trail side if you run or walk to the round about and back. Hot during the day and cools off in the afternoon best time to go.
Pretty cool place to go hiking for jogging There are some weirdos there that like to just park and sit in their car Other than that beautiful desert trail
