Barnes & Noble Rowan University Bookstore - Book store in Glassboro - 201 Rowan Blvd, USA

Received a book from here as a Christmas gift but unfortunately I’ve already read it. The store will not let me exchange it with the receipt & book in pristine condition because it was bought more than 2 weeks ago. I recommend buying your books online or going to a book store that has better customer service.

Horrible customer service from the young lady at check out. She unfortunately was more interested in trying on a sweater and talking to her colleagues instead of helping a customer. She was very rude, sarcastic and unapologetic. When I pointed out to her that she was not good at doing her job she actually said “ thank you”! The only reason I am giving Barns & Noble a 1 rating is because of the store manager who called me personally to apologize for the lack of service and care on behalf of her employee. I can’t validate if the manager actually did speak with the employee and redirected her to the company’s service model and expectation of a high caliber of service that B&N employees should provide to customers. But the store manager did follow through in trying to get to the root cause of my dissatisfaction. It is my hope that not only the offending employee, but all of the branch employees understand the importance of customer service…even if your having a bad day. While I would never wish for anyone to lose their job, I do however believe in quality customer service and treating people with respect. Not to mention the notion that you never know who you may come in contact with. I wish them well!

The hours are posted 10:00 am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday and I am at the door at 4::20 pm Thursday and you’re closed!

Horrible experience. Purchased a used rental textbook as the option was available on the website and less than 24 hours later was charged for double the price to purchase a new textbook as they do not have anymore in stock. Unable to cancel the transaction as the store was closed last night and after attempting first thing this morning am still being told I cannot be issued a refund. Will not purchase from here ever again as it is a scam.

A beautiful bookstore in the heart of Rowan University. There's tons to choose from. Cash and cards accepted. It is wheelchair accessible with restrooms for patrons. There is also a cafe but it is currently under renovation and not open. There is street parking and garage parking with your 1st hour Free. Enjoy!

Clean, well-organized, spacious store with a roomy Starbucks café area on the ground floor. There is plenty of Rowan U. swag to choose from too.

Two story bookstore. Ok selection. Children's selection was rather small. The toy section was bigger then the book section. Second story was only about half full. Mainly textbooks, supplies, and Rowan stuff. Small selection of books. There's a Starbucks cafe. Seemed clean. Employees were super nice and very hospitable.

Went into Barnes and Nobles at Rowan to study online for class and for my personal reference I like sitting on the floor in a corner near the window. They literally told me to get up off the floor and sit in a chair because they’re following ADA compliance. FYI the store is completely empty and it’s a Tuesday at 10am also Rowan university students are on summer break. I wasn’t bothering anyone and I didn’t see anyone in a wheelchair because that’s really what ADA compliance is. Maybe it’s because I’m a different shade 🤷🏽‍♀️
