Very unassuming place located in a strip mall. We were seated quickly and had time to look over the classic diner menu. Great portion sizes and the food was tasty. Super service the kept up with the crowd.

We were seated at a booth for two adjacent to the outer. There were many booths for four that were available. Some of these booths had just two patrons, one had just one. Then we waited. We sat for at least 15 to 20 minutes before the cashier came back to see if anyone had offered us coffee. About 15 minutes later the waitress who had seated us came to take our order. Ellen had two eggs, bacon and home fries. They were good. I ordered two poached eggs on corned beef hash. The hash was absolutely inedible. I had two bytes and pushed them aside. No one offered a refill of our coffee. Ellen got up and intercepted a waitress and got her cup refilled. I spoke to the cashier about our experience. She didn’t say a word. We will never return

I go there it's like a family affair who does excellent reasonable staff is everyone there is this awesome prices are great and the food is excellent!

Nice place and my service was great. Food was good but not something to mention. Food wasn't hot when it arrived but warm enough to eat of course.

Fast & friendly service, with a homestyle feel. Everyone was very efficient, checking on our needs throughout our meal, and accomodating all our needs. Our breakfast was large portions that left us full with take home packages . Fresh blueberries 🫐 in the 🥞pancakes. .. soooo good!

This was our first dining experience at the Barnegat Diner. The waitress was friendly and very efficient! The menu selection was fantastic and the specials board was varied. I ordered an ice tea which was refreshing! The wrap came warmed with the most hot and crispy fries! My husband ordered the lunch special which came with soup. He loved it! This is now our go to diner! We’ll be back!
