Barkers Island Inn & Conference Center - Hotel in Superior - 300 Marina Dr, USA

This hotel is a gem. It is on Barker Island right on the Lake near the old ship just on the main road going out of Superior e/b. The hotel is very attractive with lots of parking. The check in was fast and friendly. The rooms were beautiful and well equipped. The bed was good and very comfortable. The hotel, room and pool were all clean and well kept. The small lounge with a gorgeous outdoor patio was a treat. A tad expensive but worth the stay. The food was great.|Overall, a wonderful experience. Rdcommend

Called in about an hour out, and Shana got me a room 230. She was so helpful and accommodating.You don't see that very often. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean but out of body soap in the shower. The carpet had remnants of doritos on it. Could have been a better job vacuuming. The pool and hot tub were great. And the facility was clean. Will come back. Thanks for all your help, Shana!

My stay was really good. Everyone was very nice, friendly and helped whenever needed. I got a sort of rustic, cabin type vibe from this place. Food- definitely decent. Bar- pool table and outside patio area. Sherri at the front desk is a pleasure, along with the other women and the guy (didn’t catch their names). Pool, jacuzzi, sauna were great extras. My room window facing the water out front and a beautiful sunrise. I have no complaints, except would’ve like to extend my stay there.

We totally enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff, great restaurant, great bar, great location! We like the pool and jacuzzi. Perfect for family gathering and relaxing. Near many restaurants and stores and gas station. Plenty of parking. We are bring a big group of friends back in the fall for a hiking trip of WI and MN parks. Fall Colors.

Been here since Tuesday the entire staff is Accommodating and very Professional and Friendly . If we needed anything they were right on the spot making sure our stay was pleasant. The staff are friendly and helpful on all our needs . On a personal note I’m a Legion Honor Guard Member. I highly recommend that Veterans consider Book a rooms here . It’s nice and quiet Beautiful Surroundings.

Stayed with my wife and 3 young kids. They had fun in the pool. The hotel is in a cool area. The front desk person was nice, but not super helpful. Had to ask where the elevator was. The carpets in the hallways upstairs are seemingly 20+ years old and have a smell. Rooms are OK. The rooms do have a large fridge (hardly was cold) and a microwave. The sheets on the bed had a bunch of long black hairs. Pool area is meh. Hot and humid, but kids had fun nonetheless. I’d probably come back.

Several of us meet here monthly for lunch. Beautiful setting. Wonderful service. Good food. They've moved the salad bar service to 4 PM which is unfortunate for a couple of us but is understandable given that we are often the only people in the restaurant for the time we are there. I think the place is underrated and under utilized. Menu is good and balanced. The food is always well prepared, tasty, and nicely presented. The service is gracious, kind, and engaging. It is clean and a beautiful setting. Y'all should go sometime and check it out
