I enjoyed a nice date with my partner here. We devoured the Brussels sprouts. Entree portions are large; we both had enough for leftovers of the Fish and Chips and the Moroccan Meatballs special. The dessert was good if a little overpriced for a lava cake. The ambience was casual and volume was good for conversation compared to some restaurants in the area.

I’m a local to the area, and this is mine and my family’s all-around favorite restaurant. Everything you eat is so delicious, we especially like the cheddar fritters, Reuben, chicken sandwich, and fish and chips! The atmosphere is really cozy and the owner is a great guy. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a good meal.

Great restaurant in Shelburne. The atmosphere is relaxed and decor is like rustic ski lodge / old england Inn. The menu has great options from farm to table fine dining to small plates & appetizers, as well regular pub fare of burgers and sandwiches. My wife loved the seared yellowfin tuna and I had the duck specials which was delicious! Wednesday is burger night and well worth a visit, but note it's usually pretty busy! Can't beat $12 for burger and pint!

We were there tonight and ordered one of the special entrees, lobster mac and cheese, for $25 each. They came in a 4"-5" mini pot -- mine had two small pieces of lobster and my husbands had none. That some expensive pasta! Plus, the mac and cheese itself was dry and not very good. The dish came with no sides, so we ordered a side veggie and side salad, which the menu said were $2 and $4 respectively when ordered with an entree, but we were charged $4 and $5 instead and told that the lower prices were only if you were substituting them for another side. Sheesh. We had really hoped this would be good, but were very disappointed.

Really like the feel and trendy rustic ambience of Barkeaters. Food was good. Salmon, corn chowder and dill carrots, great. Cioppino and lava cake okay. Everything was well priced and the staff was quick, friendly, and on top of all the takeouts and tables. Nice perk during the chaos of these times. A lot of regulars were coming and going and chatting with staff, which I found testament to their good food and service. Appreciate and looking forward to trying their multiple veggie options.

Amazing! After a hike on the Long Trail, this was just the kind of food we needed. Local, full of flavor and healthy portions. Friendly service and a Adirondack lodge vibe. We can’t wait to go back.

Brussels appetizer with maple and bacon was amazing, def worth $9. Lobster roll amazing too - nice quality meat and fresh-baked roll ❤️

Great service. Burgers were tasty but on the small side for the price. They were served on small baking trays with fries that made the meal look smaller. #WeWantPlates Good selection of local beer. It's a small place so you may need a reservation at peak times. Bark was great.
