Barefoot Beach Club - Resort hotel in Madeira Beach - 13220 Gulf Blvd, USA

Second visit here & just as good. It's such a great location for everything. Once again we took the buses everywhere ( stop right outside ) & didn't bother with a car. Many restaurants within walking distance at John's Pass & a 7-11. Check in nice & easy. Room was excellent. We had a beach front queen suite. Fridge, coffee machine, microwave & plenty of crockery & utensils. Bed was really comfy. Two pools, one just for paddling & a spa. Absolutely love the Moses basket system for your fresh towels & toiletries. Literally leave it outside your room by 9.30am full of your dirty towels & soon after it's returned with fresh towels & any shampoo etc you requested. So efficient. Staff are all fantastic & super helpful. Hope to go back😁

4.5 stars. The location was great...we stayed in the front building and our balcony overlooked the beach. It was a quiet place where you could relax and walking distance to John's Pass. The room was nice and clean. I would change around the sitting and sleeping areas so the bed was closer to the patio door...that way you could see the beach while laying in bed. It was also difficult to see the TV from where the bed was because the post on the half wall was in the way. The bed could use a topper for a little more comfort since it's just a mattress on top of a steel platform. The staff was very friendly and even got us into our room a little early. Check in was easy and, although parking is tight, we didn't have any problems. I love the key bracelets they give you...it makes it so easy to not have to worry about your key card. We will definitely be back.

What a great place! My wife and I spent a weekend here in one of the apartments. I cannot believe how nice it was for the price. I used to stay at a place a mile or two north. This place is practically across the street from St. John’s Pass. The room had everything. Even a washer and dryer. Full kitchen with an actual refrigerator and range. It was super clean and modern. The balcony was huge. It’s right on the beach and the view is spectacular. The pool area was really nice and clean. The only improvements I would make was the water leaked out of the tub slowly and it didn’t get as hot as I wish. Also the plumbing from other rooms made a little noise but it was no big deal. I wish they had a bathroom by the pool. Overall a fantastic place. This is definitely our new spot.

This is a relatively new facility, they are currently under some renovations and improvements. Pros: hard to beat the location, it is right on the beach, and a 5-7 minute walk to John's Pass (eateries and shopping). They have a pool and hot tub as well as a weight room but that is currently relocated inside the laundry room :( . |Cons: we were there off-season but the Office was frequently closed. On Sunday I was swimming and realized there was no towels left, called the Office but it was closed. they advertise 2 pools, but not really, the second so-called pool is 9 inches deep with sprinklers. I was dismayed by all the price add ons, They charge a hefty resort fee but if you want to use a cabana or beach lounger with shading it is extra. they charge a separate parking fee ( not unusual but still annoying). They advertise gas grills but I did not see any. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard and not comfortable. |The location pretty much trumps the negatives, but not sure I would return for a stay

The hotel its self is great and has potential to be marvellous, however reviewing as a brit who paid a lot of money for a holiday, I did expect more. Obviously the front rooms will have spectacular views of the dolphins playing in the sea. We didn’t…we did have a pool view which was nice enough. |No onsite security, nor any safes which made me feel uneasy. |Shower is gorgeous |Pool facilities are good but not for children, more for couples who wish for peace and relaxation.|Rooms very noisy…you can hear everything above. |Great parking.|Walkable cafe called sweet brewnette which was gorgeous, worth a visit.

Love the vibe here. No frills, just an awesome place right on the beach with the most amazing sunsets ! Super friendly helpful staff, check in was a pleasure. Nice pool and hot jacuzzi area. Room was clean, the bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable. Hotel was quiet and well placed for a short stroll to the bars and shops. Would highly recommend.

Check in, check out was a breeze. Nice covered parking. Literally right on the beach. Room nice and comfortable. Great food close by, Thailand #2 had wonderful food. Pool and hot tub were clean and comfortable. Look forward to our return. Enjoy!

This hotel has 2 separate buildings. One next to the beach and the other behind it. We were in the rear building, rooms 50 and 41. Both are identical suites with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen, living room, and massive balcony. Room 50 had the better view, 41 was blocked about 50% by the front building. There is a pool between the 2 buildings. The beach was very nice with soft white sand that wasn’t hot (even though it was 95 degrees outside). The water is very calm and easy for small children to enjoy. This hotel has no food or coffee downstairs. You only get one day of coffee for the coffee maker and one set of towels even though we were staying 3 nights. It’s a hassle to go through their process to get more towels and wash clothes. There is a washer and dryer in the suite. But it didn’t come with laundry detergent, so I had to go on the hunt for some. I would stay here again definitely.
