Went to the Neighbors helping Neighbors Toy drive for kids today at this place & had an absolutely wonderful time!! The restaurant culture is so wonderful! Staff was extremely friendly & helpful & loved the atmosphere.. Very family friendly & will definitely return!

Bare Bones is an easy place to find, right on 36. You can order as you come in and choose your seat. Food is served promptly. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you want. The sweet potato fries were thin and crispy, the brisket salad humongous, and the patty melt on rye was toasted to buttery perfection. There was live music (Two step Tuesdays) with an ample dance floor of polished concrete. It was a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

We were dropping something off for my son at drill this weekend and found this little gem. My wife and I shared the three meat platter with a cobbler and had plenty on the plate. Our 12 year old and 10 year old picky eater were both happy with theirs as well. I tried the brisket, chicken, and turkey and no dry meat to be found the brisket was melt in the mouth. Bring on Black's brisket out of Austin, I think you have a competition. We found out they do live music, maybe next time we will plan it out to go. Staying on Lake Belton camping? It is just a few short minutes from Cedar Ridge, so you may want to try it out.

The universal comment around the table was that everything was very dry. I had the pork and the chicken and others had their brisket. Overall the flavor was kind of unremarkable in bland but completely edible and satisying. The sides were standard and all were good. I had their coleslaw which was unique in that it contains cilantro, so that may not be for everyone. I also had their dirty rice, which was just regular rice with barely any spice on it. I'm spoiled as I routinely eat Kansas City BBQ. The place has a lot of ambience and the service was excellent and all of the workers were extremely nice.

Best BBQ in TEXAS !!! Gotta get there early if you don't want to miss out. We've tried nearly everything and so far it's all amazing. The Smoked Chicken, Smoked Turkey, The Brisket ... all tender mouth watering flavor. I always order extra lean, and that is exactly how I get it. !!! Homemade Desserts !!! The customer service is beyond great. Always ready to help and go the extra mile. Especially Jamie Velasquez ... The Go To Man ! And ... The BBQ isn't the only thing here that rocks , Bare Bones features concert bands and events in The Bone Yard ! Check them out online.

I ordered a chopped sandwich and fries... When I finally had the chance to open the to go container about an hour after I got the food (I was busy) the sandwich had sliced brisket and that was ok I just prefer chopped... it was good and tender... Not the best BBQ ever but it was good 👍 and the employees were extremely nice and friendly!! Very clean place and I hope that I get the chance to stop in again! I'm giving 4 stars bc they got my order wrong and it wasn't busy at all

Actually hit the spot. Food was very good try the sausage, ribs, and brisket. I got unsweet tea my friend got sweet both are really tasty. Price wasn't crazy for good barbecue.

OMG!!! I almost bit my finger while eating my burger! It was soooo delicious! I definitely will be going back for more. Everything is great there. From burgers to fried okra to pies to fries to sauces! You name it!!!! A MUST for us meat eaters! The mac's cheese is fabulous!
